    Quick Windower Macro question

    I'm making my Nin/Drk macros and I wanted to incorporate my Nin/Drk equip macro into my Utsu macro. So like if I hit Ni while I have my Enmity or Kiting gear on it'll switch to my haste gear before I cast utsu. It errors if I just do them one after the other, does it need a /wait 1? If there's a way to do it without /wait 1 or /pause 1 that'd be tight.

    I just have

    /exec hastestuff
    /ma utsu

    in a normal macro, so that should work, even with a wait x /exec normalstuff after it.

    hm, ok, I'll keep testing it out.

    another Q.....

    Does Enmity affect job abilities? Like Last Resort and Warcry etc?

    input /equip head "Walahra Turban";
    input /equip body "Rapparee Harness";
    input /equip hands "Homam Manopolas";
    input /equip waist "Swift Belt";
    input /equip legs "Homam Cosciales";
    input /equip feet "Homam Gambieras";
    input /equip l.ear "Loquac. Earring";

    Usually don't carry Loquacious with me on THF though, just put it in when i first got it, new shinies + boredom. ;p

    I don't see why not? Enmity's a huge subject of debate, but at least for JA's recasts do nothing, so nothing else but enmity that's worth swapping in.

    Re: Quick Windower Macro question

    it ended up working out, sounds good.

    Took a while to get everything in order..... good to have some haste.txts as opposed to full nin/drk gearsets. Still workin' the kinks out.

    So far I have Last Resort, Weapon Bash, Souleater, Stun, Sleep, Bind, Kurayami, and Hojo macro'd, along with all my gearsets (Nin/Drk, Enmity, Haste, TP, WS, Souleater) With my Galka MP pool it seems like it'd be a waste to even macro Drain/Aspir or Drain-Chr etc. Would I even need to worry about macro'ing those spells?

    Re: Quick Windower Macro question

    Hate to have to ask this, since its somewhat of a silly question, but does the same apply for WSes? I've been told that it doesn't work, but from what I can tell, it does (although I haven't tested rigorously).
    For instance:

    /console exec gekko.txt
    /ws "Tachi: Gekko" <t>
    /wait 1
    /console exec tpgear.txt

    Is the /wait 1 necessary?

    It works, but for the most part, and specially if youre in a laggy area, youll end up swtiching back to tpgear before the ws even goes off, you want atleast 2 seconds.

    Even with JAs you'll be safer to go with 2 seconds. With 1 second delay I was always unsure if the JA was processing before my gear swapped back :/

    Re: Quick Windower Macro question

    I use this for when I'm doing windower macros:

    http://www.forsakenhearts.net/ffxicalc/

    It's got a bunch of other things you can tinker with, like quick reference guides for dynamis and limbus, but I really enjoy the auto formats for macros in it.
