Y's Scythe

I just recently obtained my X's Knife, but my friends want to keep spamming the BC for Shining Cloths and the chance to get some of them the other weapons. Since we have no DRKs in our group a couple of my friends have been asking me if they can have the scythe/if it's worth it? I checked wiki and while X/Z weapons both of latents Y's is coming up with nothing. Is there anything special about this scythe or is it just garbage?

i thought only z had a latent, with x and y being at full strength alone, hence why x was actually powerful.

Well X's has the increase critical hit effect, which isn't latent, but it makes it good. I would imagine if you were actually activate the latent on Z's Trident it might be decent with the two handed update, but I honestly don't know. The Scythe doesn't seem like it is good/was ever good. I didn't know if there was special about it I was missing to tell me friends who keep bugging me about it

Might be something like Tredicem Scythe and have a critical hit on every soso attack.

The last rumor I had heard on Y and Z is that for the latent to be active another off the 3 weapons had to be in party too. Hence why no one cares, but like I said only rumors.
