There isn’t even any point in getting excited about new skill chain possibilities as no one skillchains and magicbursts anymore anyway.
Well, there is the excitement of getting a new weapon skill and reading the help text for it. I remember when I read the help text for Savage Blade for the first time. "Delivers an aerial attack comprised of two hits. Not as good as Vorpal Blade."
Hey, it's still the best WS RDM naturally gets with sword.

I doubt the weapons will be tied to WotG. It's something a bit too... uninvolved to encompass cross-expansion content. Really, until Apocalypse Nigh and possibly CoP Dynamis, pretty much everything that's come has been standalone, and these at least had some quest element inspiring their continuance. So, should the weapons ever evolve into anything more useful, it'll probably be limited to ToAU.

It has to be New Moon (Darksday onry) and you have to wear this:
    http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Spelunker%27s_Hat
    and you can't use food

(also people in your alliance have to touch the ebon panels within 5 minutes)

    No.

There's an Ebon Panel for every 3 of the original jobs, and an Engraved Tablet for each ToAU job.
Every alliance member also has to be lvl 75 of the guy's job, have the correspond Nyzul weapon and Nyzul set (sans head; it must be a Glory Crown, but it must be in inventory along with full Relic+1, Salvage Armor, Relic accessory, and AF weapon) equipped, have a Birdman Cape equipped, and be facing NE.
    Duh.

Don't forget each alliance member needs a Doll Gizmo and Nidhogg Scales in their inventories.

If you're saying his hit had an add effect that couldn't have come from anything but the weapon, then yes I'd like to please see a screenshot as well as one of the gear he was wearing at the time if you can provide.

    Re: Nyzul Weapons

It really pisses me off when SE releases stuff like these weapons. SE puts them in the game as an end reward for doing 100 floors of nyzul and gives no info about their purpose. All the tests done so far leads me to believe these weapons are currently worthless/not activated yet after months of being in game.

You forgot about last quarter moon on the day opposite your job's element. (Watersday for wars of course.)

We have a guy at floor 91 atm and are probably going to go up after the 100th just to see what happens this time. But if anyone has actually done this please respond here so i know what im getting myself into beforehand if possible.
We had 10 mins left after defeating floor 100 hnm so we decided to see what happens when you choose to go to next floor. We got... floor one!
The objective was specified enemies no gear aggro. Ended up being 5 psycheflayers and gears everywhere. So... just exit after floor 100.

A PUP in my LS reported her burning knuckles doing added effect damage too. I'm going to have time to test this tomorrow and I will let you know what I find out. Screens will follow.

    Great, looking forward to that.

Do you think you might have time to run a parser with your weapon, and then switch it for one with similar damage and delay? Even if you just do it for 30min with each, it could be really helpful.

    Thanks. ^^

If you can direct me to a parser that isn't a keylogger and has a good explanation of how to use it I sure can.

Does it matter if the author worked hard for his relic?
