That's not what is being discussed. We're talking about 6 back-to-back weaponskills that will make 5 skillchains in a row. Your listing is 1 and 2 skillchains. The idea here is to do 5 (potentially 6) uninterrupted skillchains and get the leet 225% modifier on Light. Yea, what I was discussing was whether or not there was some kind of limit to SCs you could have in a row. Before CoP came out, at one point I had wanted to try to speed kill gods through constant Lv2 chains (fusion to gravitation to distortion to fragmentation back to fusion etc). However someone had told me he had seen it attempted before and said there was a 6 WS (or may have been 6 SC, this was a long time ago) limit where it stops chaining afterwards. So I took his words for granted at the time and had been under that impression for a long time.
Last night before logging, I did what Hakamaru was going to do, and it did in fact worked.

Now that was only 7 WS, 6 SC, so I may try something more "infinite" later on today, something like Jinpu spammed 12+ times (Detonation-Scission back and forth) with another SAM and see what happens there.
Very nice work Chewbar, and you may have just uncovered something new in the process! I did some math with your numbers and came up with the following results.

A few things to note:
- All % Bonuses are adjusted to account for the 2x damage Qutrubs take (skillchains effectively get a 4x modifier; 2x to the WS, and another 2x to the skillchain)
- Estimated full damage includes the 2x damage for Qutrubs
- The first skillchain received a 60% bonus rather than the expected 50%. Did it happen to be raining or be Watersday when you did your testing?
- All other skillchains fell in line with expected values after applying resists except for the last
- The number you got for Darkness confused me for quite a while. Under the assumption of a 225% cap on bonus damage or reverting back to 100% damage it didn't fit any resist patterns. Changing the assumption to a 250% bonus it fit with a 1/8 resist.
The new discovery? It seems the damage bonus will still increase beyond the previously assumed limit of 6 weaponskills. At the 7th weaponskill (6th skillchain) a level 3 skillchain will receive a 250% damage bonus. Good work on getting the raw numbers! :D
Yea, that darkness really confused me, because I was under the same assumption. I couldn't figure it out but then again it was 1 AM in the morning for me, lol. Sekkanoki limits the fTP on your first WS to 100TP which makes any of the big3 weak-sauce (especially using a hagun). Plus, there's no SC following the first WS, so you'll see overall bigger totals this way.
