I believe I had Mighty Strikes up since my swings higher up were all crits.
I kind of remember not having Berserk or Aggressor up... maybe both. Not sure since it was over half a year ago.

Still tho 1k Sturmwind at that level is impressive. My best was arround 997 on a Vorpal Scythe on DRK with War Sub using JSE body with Last Resort and Souleater on the same mob type at 49.

Forgive my ignorance but can you explain how subbing MNK is viable to a THF? Not trying to be an ass but I'm curious what made you choose to sub that over war sam or drk.

Well, the sub isn't good for every THF. A lot of THF go to Tiamat for TH and mob puller so NIN sub is better. However, I didn't spend so much gil and time on THF to be just be a TH bitch. I go as DD and MNK sub is the best thing. Every job that isn't THF uses THF sub to spike dmg. MNK sub is THF's spike dmg. As you can see from the mercy. NIN sub can't do nearly as much dmg. This also works with SB but SB requires a lot more tp to do decent dmg. Also, there is time every flight to be able to gain TP and boost to 999 attack. As far as the other sub alternatvies, WAR SAM DRK; WAR sub wouldn't produce anywhere near as much attack, SAM sub is super weak for WS dmg and meditate isn't needed for this mob, and DRK sub requires you to get really lucky with Triple Attack on Mercy or forced Assassin's Charge which makes it very unreliable.

I'll play around with it and give it a try. I usually prefer to DD thf also but the times were few and far between.

STR 5/5, no Marksmanship merits, Dia 2 or 3 (Not sure which, and I forgot to Light Shot it to boot), Angon, Feint, Coeurl Sub, Chaos Roll IV (Lucky #) w/ DRK in PT, 2x SV Minuet. Was missing about 4-5 STR in gear that I could've gotten, maybe a slightly better food or I woulda broke 2100 I bet

Also: Jealous of high cannonballs I rarely get to go BLU to things, and when I do, I rarely have a BRD~
