Some people use filters because it makes the chat log not so stupid. Someetimes people don't use any filters and makes the chat log stupid and the text scrolls too fast. It's more noticeable. Stop trying to be a tard like 104% of the time.

Lag, animation filters, a few reasons why you could miss an animation. I personally just look for when the openers TP disappears to see when they've gone.

Changing gear does fuck up SC animations for some reason, half the time they don't appear in the log, and you never see the actual animation go off, happened to me a lot when I used to play SAM often.

This. My life on Sam is much happier since I started using BMN, since I don't kill the Darkness animation every time I gear swap. No clue why it doesn't appear in the log if the animation gets cut, even though you can see the added dmg taken on the mobs HP bar.

I put TP in my macros for myself not for others. If I go back and look at a big chat log, for something like DL or KV, I can tell what TP I had for which WS'

It's decent for skillchaining too.
