I'm short, so the animations are all right around eyelevel with all the butts...

I'm looking at the butts anyways, so when I notice (effects off, kills a ton of lag on ps2), someone hold a polearm this way, or make three rapid smashes with a great axe that way, I just fire off an SCable WS.

It's not as pretty, but seeing the same SC animation over and over gets old.

Well, doing light with gaxe hasn't gotten old yet...

100% sure he was /SAM, and we had no mage in the party for dia were using outside healing BRD + COR.

IMO he is the best geared DRG on the server, elvaan with str merits. v fork ares,hecatomv etc.

Ahh Elvaan + Fork explains it. That extra 8 base STR (over my merited Mithra STR) and extra wDMG probably fills the gap from my record (2876). Planets still were in alignment I say.

iirc he hit 2 over 3k but that was the first so i took a SS, ill look around and see ive i have the parse, after I saw the 3k I became a little discouraged about keeping up with him I shortly after turned the parse off

my reaction in party chat was 'WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT'

and another one of his LS members who had filtered damage replied was

'oh did you do a 3k+ again?'

so I was like well i guess its not too special for him

lol, there was some dmg mod or something on that mob. Fenian ring only adds +50 dmg, so I do about 270~ a bash.

The mob in the DE shot is one of the greater birds in misareaux, not a crawler in dyna bubumiru.
