I'm going to say something that has been bothering me for a while.

Why do we even ask them questions? Any time we ask questions they either don't know the answer, say that they will look into it, evade the question, or just lie to us. How often do we ever get anything useful from an NA interview? Really, what is the point of even giving us the opportunity to ask something when you have no plans whatsoever to give a reasonable answer. If you want us to ask certain questions, then tell us the questions and answer them so that we don't waste our time asking things that you will never, ever answer.

There isn't anything they can do about it unless they continue to make more salvage like area's.

Just to clear things up I'm not talking about leaving a mule at tiamat, I'm talking about LS which camp tiamat with 6-10 people for several days straight.

Obviously it's perfectly legitment for people to spend 4 days straight at tiamat waiting for it to pop with 6-10 people, but it's obviously not what SE intended. Those of us that have lives and no plumbing permenantly fix to our computer chairs obviously cant spend this amount of time waiting for tiamat to spawn. I'm not demanding change, however I would like to hear their thoughts on the matter.

Secondly, I love it when people say there is "nothing they can do." I've been hearing that same line since i've began to play this game. "There is nothing they can do about gillsellers," "there is nothing they can about people training mobs to zone." There is tons of things that can be done so a LS doesn't have to spend 4 days waiting for tiamat to pop. Simply changing the pop between 96-120 hrs. (4-5 days) only makes it a 24 hour window that a claiming party has to sit there. I'm sure even the LS that spend 4 days watching for it's spawn, would prefer a smaller pop window.

I'd say maybe 1 update SE threw us NA players a major bone after almost a year of complaining and it was when they decided to fix ulli, make throwable items not able to be thrown that one patch. I feel like they finally listened to their NA players but it seems like its short lived.

Chocoracing, pankration all those useless things come straight from their JP player suggestions more than zammites spamming for that kinda stuff.

I think the solution is rather simple, if you don't like my shell you don't have to join, and a matter of fact nobody is asking you to. My shell runs perfectly in line with the goals and values of the members of my shell. Each goal we have set out to accomplish we have, and will continue to do so. The success my of shell goes beyond anything your small mind can comprehend. We have members who are dedicated to each other, and leadership who is dedicated to the shell. I have a lot of friends in the Yojimbos, but always found the lack of dedicated leaders a bit unfortunate.

I really don't understand your intrest in my shell, or why you like to make such comments against it. Maybe it makes you feel better about yourself, by trying to put others down, I remember some people like this in 5th grade, they are now the jobless bums living in trailer parks. If your going to make comments against my shell, please at least make sure they are valid. In the last 1-2 years my LS had never once wiped against and King it has claimed, we are 100% capped on algols from cerberus, and nearly everyone capped in Sea (Screw you joF,) Own B2/ouryu, and killed jorm. We do salvage as well, I just complete my usukane feet, hopefully the body soon.

So if your really still wanting to several hours a day making comments about my shell or others on the server, I certainly can't stop you... But everyone in my ls stopped listening a long time ago.

We have members who are dedicated to each other, and leadership who is dedicated to the shell.

Why? Most of us are bored w/ them. We've been doing them since release. Do we have to team up w/ another shell in order to kill? No. But it makes it easier to claim and this way we can cover the majority of time zones. Giving our EU,JP,and US members a fair shot at acquiring what they want.

If thats the way you want to play your game, I think you should do it. It's your $15 dollars a month not mine, I really don't care what you do to be honest. If you want to spend 50 hours a week killing genbu cause you enjoy looking at turtles, I would be the first person to support you. This is the main reason I'm not forcing anyone in my LS to spend 4 days straight at a tiamat spawn, It's just plain stupid for anyone to spend that kind of time to fight any NM on ffxi.

I'm not gonna get into a some pissing contest churchill, I'm just pointing out his hypocracy when his LS has needed to team up with another shell to kill kings on a consistant basis (including aspid.) You can argue about killing these NM's on your own, but it seems if you could kill it on your own... you would just for the simplicity of keeping the drops in your own shell. Maybe I'm missing something but when I spend my 3 hours camping I'm doing to help someone in my own shell.

Glad you took the time to make that. I will be the first to apologize to you and everyone that knows me that yes, I just recently got Sea access in JUL07. My pre-deployment training and deployment to Afghanistan precluded my FFXI gaming and thus I was not able to get past 2-5 prior to leaving and spending 18mos overseas.

But in more nice, flowery language, about how it'd be interesting to speak to a dev or some bullshit. Cuz I don't think anyone is gonna be too mean or we'll get no interview or fanfests at all.
