While I agree with the pick, I assume you mean horrid run D.
No. They have huge names, and still have a horrid Pass D. Rivers shredded them bad. Same with Manning and such. They aren't as good as they should be.
As bad as you think their pass D is, I don't think Rivers is not going to be shredding anyone. He played crappy against the Raiders for the love of god and greatly contributed to the Chargers' losses earlier in the season
Uh. If he's not supposed to be shredding anyone, then why did he shred Denver's pass defense even with all their names? I mean.. it's not like 350 yards and 5 TDs like Brady, but i think he went for 270/2 TDs..which for him considering.. it's pretty damn good. I'm just saying, their pass defense is heavily overrated.
You should never base things like that in the NFL off of one game. Just look at all the other games he's played in so far. There are big names on the Denver defense but they are not playing as well as they have this year. Who knows why, they might be getting old, they might not be able to work well together, but they're not the Denver defense of old. I think Rivers has always been overrated; good yes, but not absolutely awesome. You expect people like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning to shred defenses, not Phillip Rivers.

Dude. My argument wasn't that Rivers is a good QB, or isn't overrated. God, he's so fucking overrated, it's getting rediculous. If he didn't have Gates, he'd have nothing. My point was that the Broncos "supposedly" dominating pass D with their big names isn't so much dominating this year. I think Rivers might do SOME better now that he has another weapon to throw to in Chambers, but he's still very overrated.

Brady is like 3-1 against the steelers and 2-1 against Polamalu, I think he knows how to handle their defense by now.

Sorry if this sounds retarded but I'm totally blanking. For playoff spots, the winner of the division is decided by division W/L record or conference W/L record? I know it's not league record, just can't remember which of the other two it is

Edit: Just looked it up and christ, that means the Lions are currently the leaders of the NFC North... over the Packers. I still can't believe they lost to Chicago.

Wait... what? Do you even know who the Denver secondary is?

Anyway, I woke up to about a foot and a half of snow. Snow games for the win.

    From looking at the rankings:

    http://www.nfl.com/stats/team

Pass D: #1 in the NFL
Rush D: #32 in the NFL

    Maybe Akiyama made a typo?

Eh, wasn't a typo. I actually didn't realize they were tops, but the way they played against the Chargers.. eh, I don't know. Was just messy. D: Anyway, I apologize then for being wrong. I do think that they'll be exposed as the year goes on, but meh. Only my opinion.

In other Breaking News: Tom Brady is really really good. So good in fact, he'll probably sit the second half. :/

I love him but God, when will people stop giving Tom Brady all the credit? All he literally had to do for 2 of those touchdowns was just throw the ball in the air. Randy Moss is that good where you know whats going to happen once you see the ball thrown that high.

    We could have done that.

K nvm I take that back. Their backup sucks.

HAHAHAHAHA he had to give Brady his hand towel back. lol.

Hey Tom, can i borrow your lucky hand towel for when I go out? Thanks
(5 min later after he throws an easy INT)
Tom: Give me my damn towel back bitch.

That was awesome. Brady was like "Gtfo Cassel" and throws another TD to Welker. Gogo.
