im not dodging any question, if we end up discussing this involving other system as you did can you not see what would happen? We would stack pros and cons up and we could amount a mountain's worth of arguements and it would end up being a 160+ page thread. Now, lets think. We have no reason to be biased against consoles, they're just that, consoles. Everyone has a damned opinion, people need to get over it. Buy what you want, don't buy what you don't want, and hope your buddy has that other system when you need to steal / use it!

Yes, because anyone who thinks the PS3 isn't worth the rediculous price tag is just "making it up". I might be kinda late to the party, but isn't it kind of a given that the PS3 isn't worth the $600? Folklore and Warhawk are the only games worth their price. Should someone really have to play $500-$700 just to play them? hell no. At the end of the month, PS3 will be getting it's first bona fide system seller in R&C.

People are asking 'y dont u liek ps3' when the better questions is "what games on PS3 are worth getting one over 360 or Wii." When a parent walks into a store, what system would you sell to their child? Their teenager? Their college student? Right now the PS3 doesn't rank 1st in any of those categories.

The PS3 lineup just isnt there. It will be next spring, but now? Please, lol. I wanna try Folklore though >.>

And Deejay, Warhawk got old after about 2 weeks. But Heavenly Sword is a must play too, the time you need to spend in order to beat it has nothing to do with how amazing that game actually is.

My hubby bought the PS3 about 3 weeks ago. Read about the $100 price reduction yesterday, so last night we went to Best Buy with the receipt and got $100 back. Nice!

We got the PS3 not only for the games, but to rent/buy movies in Blue Ray to watch on our HDTV. Heavenly Sword was a neat game, didn't take long to him to beat it, probably about 8ish hours or so.

Is there a listing of ps2 games that are compatable with the 60gb but not the 80gb? If any of the games I hope to go back and play are in there, I'll probably get a 60, otherwise I'll get the 80.

Friend of mine also reported hearing that *some* stores dropped the 60gb to $450.

Heh, the new demo seemed more appealing than the old one did for some reason... as for HS, that after playing the crappy demo (which looks nothing like the final version of the game.)

Don't miscontrue the order of events ... I still think that 90% of PS3 games are worthless POS's, but you can't deny some of them.

60 is every PS2 game ever made. It has all of the guts of the PS2 inside of it. Go to Sony and check the list of games that work with the 80 and compare the 2 if you want.

On the other hand, $399 without BC is pretty tempting as well. I never had a PS2 so I don't currently own any PS2 games that I'd be longing to replay. I just thought it would be cool to pick up some discounted classic titles because I wanted to check the FF games, and KH/KH2, maybe MGS but that's about it.

I'm not *dying* to play those games so I wouldn't exactly miss them.

2 usb ports? Big deal. Can buy a USB hub for 5 bucks. 40gb instead of 80? Big deal, can buy external usb drive if I *really* needed one.

Pretty much all I want is new games, blu-ray player, and internet access. I think the $399 40gb guarantees that. Now if I could find a sale or a blue-ray deal where I got it for cheaper than $399 I'd do it in a heartbeat.
