Bionic Bug ENM Question

My friend and I recently added Bionic Bug to our weekly ENM runs, usually only did Brothers + Like the Wind. First time we did it, my Bind got heavily resisted (I'd say close to 80-90% resistance.)

RDM, AF2 Hat/Altruistic Cape/Enfeebling Merits/Torque/HQ Ice Staff. I tried heavy INT builds, used Nashira Gages/Seraweels for M.Acc (and enf skill on legs), nothing made it stick, even at the start. We entered again today, planning to CS Nuke + BLM nuke it to 50% before first Gravity wore, as we didn't think we could rely on Bind, and Gravity and Sleep resistance builds fairly quickly. I tried my Bind again, and today, it stuck 100%, not a single Bind resist. I'm unsure what day we entered on the first time, however this time we entered on Windsday.

Anyone else have experience with this BC, or why it acted so oddly?

I do this ENM with:

Nin/War
Mnk/Nin
Brd/Whm
Rdm/Whm

We've done it without the Mnk before.
Elegy always lands; Rdm enfeebles never resist and the only thing he has that you listed was HQ Staff, Torque, and I think 2 or 3 merits into it Enfeeble. I would guess just bad luck/got lucky the second time. Just doing it twice, I can't say either way since we don't Bind, but I know our Rdm Gravity never resists.

I believe the bugbear NM's magic resistance and magic damage down is based heavily on it's usage of Counterstance or something. I know BLMs can get some retardedly high MBs on this NM, but likewise can do really poorly depending on timing. It definitely has multiple modes but I'm not sure if that's what you experienced.

When he uses Bionic Boost he takes double damage/magic damage, I'm not sure if it has anything to do with resistance rather just a straight x2 damage increase.

I can't answer your question, but how do you get to the enm with 2 people (thought you need at least 3 for switches)? Apologies for the derail.

Yeah, when he uses Bionic Boost, his damage taken goes high. Just can't figure out how in hell I got resisted so bad one time, and same gear, 0 resists next time, Bind only.

As for getting there: I dunno if it matters, but I have w.legs. My friend is on BLM, no gaiters. I hit 2 of the switches, and he only hits one. He hits his one switch, and runs across fast, and i drop in the hole, aggro stuff, die, and get tractored up.

With Powder boots, one person can hit 2 switches and make it across in time, if you don't want to eat the r1. I do it on thief frequently.

I'm usually just too lazy/forgetfull to bring them :D I always fall 2-3 steps from the third platform piece :/
