I like my Samsung, as I've posted. Obviously it's not the only good brand though.I was thinking something like a samsung lcd.
The numbers refer to the (general) vertical resolution. i or p at the end refer to interlaced or progressive scan. Interlaced means it draws every other line per refresh of the screen. Progressive means that, like a computer monitor, it refreshes the entire picture each time. Progressive is better. Obviously, 1080p is "better" than 720p. For a PS3 or 360, you'll actually take advantage of that resolution. Older stuff, not so much.And im wanting something for like a xbox360 or ps3 i have no idea the difference between 720p and the 1080p.
While BG is a fun board, honestly, you could probably get some better insights on a forum dedicated to this sort of thing, ie http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/ that I've linked to before. Kinda like you wouldn't go to a Honda forum and ask FFXI questions...I mean, some of the people might have played it, but you'd get better results from BG.
