    laptop & video/sound card

    o.k. well I bought this new laptop back in april for University and so general purpose things its great. However there is one major flaw that I am noticing more and more. When my computer is running a video(from youtube, DVD, stage6 etc.) I notice that if for some reason my laptop experiences some sense of lag the video and sound speed up to almost double the normal speed. I'm just wondering if there is any way to correct this?

    what are the specs of the system? for instance: Does it have shared video memory?
