Oracle's Drink + Formless Strikes?

Perhaps I suck at searching but I couldn't find a thread in which this was discussed. If it's been brought up before, I apologize, kindly link me & if it's in the wrong section, please move it.

For Salvage, if one were to use an Oracle's Drink, which increased Magic Attack Bonus, would that have a positive effect on Formless Strikes? I think I remember Alleya doing some tests with Novio Earring & Formless Strikes

Since when does MAB affects Formless Strikes?
As far as I know (from old tests when FS was released long ago) it just converts 75-85% of your physical damage into spiritual damage, the same damage type of Chi Blast.

Since the latter is not affected by MAB, I don't see how Formless Trikes should :O

Unless something new has been discovered in between. Link me those Novio tests please, I'd like to read. Sounds really unlikely MAB affects FS tho...

Only way to improve your formless strikes damage is to merit it fully. Sad panda, cause those last two merits to go into it are most likely the last on everyone's list.
What the hell are your formless striking in salvage besides those 4 puddings?

2 puddings.

The North & South are magic weak.

The West & East are melee weak.

But yeah, MAB has no effect on Formless Strikes, Alleya tested it when the merits first came out.

Speaking of Magic Attack Bonus. Besides nukes, are there any other things in the game that gets effect by MAB. I heard some blu mage spells do, not sure which.

Sandspin, Blastbomb, Cursed Sphere, Bomb Toss, Death Ray, Blitzstrahl, Ice Break, Maelstorm, Firespit, Magic Hammer, Mind Blast, Mysterious Light, Eyes on Me

Others are either HP Based, or 1000 needles.

Quick Draw is effected by MAB. Pretty significantly too if I remember the formula correctly.
