IF this is what you think, then yes please continue "waiting"
If they were to release a demo for MGS4 I'm sure it would only further delay production, so all the better.
We've all seen large amounts of gameplay for MGS4, those who are not already convinced it's going to be an awesome game are not worthy of owing it to begin with.
The narration of the clips listed it as "Middle East" so it's pretty safe to say this won't be the only setting for the levels. They have shown so much in terms of gameplay and spoilers so far I don't think they want to show any new levels.Originally Posted by Po
But I agree with you, would be cool to see some of the other settings.

Check upper left corner of the flash menu.
maybe somone mentioned it already but it does seem that there will be multiple controllable characters or unlockable ones. Its kinda strange that they have "Old Snake" on the Top left of the UI. would be cool the have an unlockable young snake? Time travel anyone? or something crazy..
I wouldn't be surprised if Raiden was playable.Originally Posted by Takiwaki
It would certainly add all new elements of gameplay.
Kind of like Altair from Assassin's Creed on steroids.
Lets say all this old snake thing is the first chapter like the tanker.
And he blows his brains out at the end of it.
And then you play cyber raiden rest of the game wouldn't that be great?
Also I forsee the return of his emo girlfriend.
I'll tell you what doesn't look impressive.
Is Metal Gear Online.
Granted, I'll have to play it to form a conclusive opinion. But It looks like it requires far too much teamwork to be a "pick up and play" sort of online game.
We know the majority of the online community in any multiplayer game are unable to follow instructions.
Yeah I agree. The majority of the player crowd is seemingly affected by ADD. And that's no good if you are in a sneaking situation where the team that spots the enemy first has a big advantage I'd imagine.
2005? Do you play Pong on that ancient rig?
However, Sony missed out with MSG4. They needed this game in the first few months, and it looks alright, but it's graphics and sound capability is already minimum standard or dated for games that can come out in 2007. It would have been cutting edge when the 'next-gen' consoles were actually 'next-gen'. With the PS3 price tag still twice as much as it's really worth, it's still not worth the investment for one game, no matter how good it looks.
I remember when Hideo Kojima said that MGS2 would be the last MGS game that designed. Boy am I glad that he changed his mind. I can't wait till I get a PS3 and am able to play this game.
heh I remember that too, but I am pretty sure he is serious this time.Originally Posted by Daahan
we were pretty sure he was serious about 3, too. "no guys i swear, no more after this. look, im serious. im being serious you guys!!! why wont anyone believe me??"Originally Posted by Po
