Thus my saying the only people truly belong on Alla are the ones saying it's stupid that it WON'T be female-only, because they're the only ones dead-set on this being a fact. The people suggesting it's a possibility that it could be gender-specific shouldn't be told to go to Alla by even your logic, true?

Maiden in the title and 1 use of the word "women"(talking about predecessors of the Dancer we will be playing) are the only possible evidence of a female only job. There is not a single indication that males can not be dancer.

Except that every screenshot/video so far of dancer players has been of females and in very feminine AF. The story they've been discussing so far makes it quite clear that these were all women in the past. All the artwork? Women and roses again.

I find it interesting that people are open to the idea of unique AF for the first time, but unique jobs? No way!

And frankly, the only people stomping around like the Alla kids are the ones dead-set against gender-specific jobs.

The story they've mentioned so far is the history of the job. How it came to be a popular job the first time. Not how it will be the second time it comes back during the crystal war. Nowhere does it state that it will be a female only job. And no, I know, nowhere does it state it will be a gender-neutral job either. However, considering the previous 18 jobs are all gender-neutral, and due to them showing 2 males in the video, it can be safely assumed that it will be a gender-neutral job until otherwise stated by SE themselves.

All arguments you "FEMALE-ONRY" guys have come with are weak at best. You refuse to see the sun, despite it being a clear sky.

Did it ever cross your mind that, perhaps, they've only worked on the female version of the AF so far? That perhaps, just perhaps, they only made the female version of the AF in order to show us what it looks like, and then go to work on the job itself some more, as well as the other jobs, and the rest of the expansion, in order to get it out in time, since the AF quest itself won't be available until at least 3 months after the game is released, just like ToAU AF were delayed? That gives them over 3 month to work on the male version of the AF.

Has the argument now become "Prove me wrong"? People are dead set on the fact because it is the way FFXI has always been. To shake such a solid trait requires more than two words. You have to prove something exists, not prove it doesn't exists. All jobs are not gender specific, therefor if nothing states otherwise, neither is Dancer.

They never showed us male dancers.. ever. They showed 2 male NPC's in a CS type situation. Those are not rendered in real time.

Having a job be race/gender specific would kinda destroy FF's niche. It's probably going to mainly be associated with Hume chicks like how BLM is associated with Tarus, THF/RNG with Mithra, PLD/DRG with Elvaan, DRK with Galka, BLU with Hume guys, COR with Elvaan guys, SMN with a single Taru boy, etc.
