Rather, the guy I work with who told me we got it over the weekend lied... I was in Boston, he told me we got our shipment, so I figured that was the case. Unfortunately it doesn't in fact come in until tomorrow. I will however be picking it up then and trying it out, I'm pretty stoked.

just got the game in today. opened it up and it had some ghetto stuff goin on with the discs

3 of the discs were stacked on the normal spindle (where one disc usually would go) and one was in a paper sleeve. seems like they would've been a bit less cheap with the packaging but thats just me ;x gonna go play through it a bit and see if it was worth it :rocl:

Agreed. That was the first thing I thought too, and I'm sure every single buyer will think the same thing. Kinda hoped they would try to come off as professional as possible with this release, and that was meh. So far the game rocks though!! Intro delay is about 10 seconds, but its not just black screen which is nice... but then there's another five seconds where you just stand there like surveying the scene I guess so it could get kinda lame...

Picked up the game, it rocks so far. It deserves the two threads of discussion it's getting, one in general and one here! Load times aren't even as bad as they were made out to be, story looks promising so far, and the music is beautiful.

The packaging is as lulzful as Blue Dragon was, but whatever. Anyone else get the pre-order bonus? A new mission and an exclusive in-game weapon. Now to take a break from WoW.

The review build had a loading bug it seems. The retail NA version does not suffer from the same loading that every reviewer was bitching about.

So yeah, the game is awesome so far. I'm really loving it. Great story, characters, and the battle system reminds me of the older Final Fantasy games (4-9). It's easily an 8.5/10 in my books. I don't have any real complaints about it yet. Anyone with a 360 should check this out for sure.

The accessory you get is godlike. Weapon Guard 2 procs so much, it's almost funny. The bonus dream you get is really good too (but then again, aren't they all?). I believe I read that this content will be made free in a month or so, but I'm not 100% sure on that one.
