The accessory you get is godlike. Weapon Guard 2 procs so much, it's almost funny. The bonus dream you get is really good too (but then again, aren't they all?). I believe I read that this content will be made free in a month or so, but I'm not 100% sure on that one.

But man, weapon guard 2 is the best fucking ability ever (it's 100 SP to master for immortals but who cares?)

Ok, I've found something that annoys the shit out of me with this game but has a workaround...

The more save files you have the longer it takes to load the save or load screen. It doesn't seem linear either... takes me like 30-45 seconds to load it right now with ~8 save files.

Been sick in bed with the flu for the past week and a half right after a job interview too. I caved in during my many nights of high fevers, and bought a 360 for this game. I know I'm crazy.

The music in this game is so epic! and the "A Thousand Years of Dreams" stories are very sad. I think cried many many times. I'm going to try to find the novel and read it in Japanese instead. I wish someone one day will turn these stories into a series of dream-like cut scenes...

Anyway, I'm on disc 3 already just beat the Dinosaur boss. I think I'm only at around 28hrs? and that's because I spent about 1-2 hrs last night leveling up Ming and Sarah (i.e. trying to gain SP so they can learn the skills from all the accessories and the "mortals"). One of my friend is also playing the game, but he's at the Experimental Staff and well he's already at 30hrs...am I missing something hmmm?

I know I'm just at the beginning of disc 3 but why does the game feel so short to me? I wonder if I'm missing something...but so far I do love this game. I just wish I wasn't already on disc 3! I don't want it to end already.

I have a final and two tests tomorrow so I haven't been playing much recently. I'm at the part right after the Uhra sewers on Disc 3. I saved right before you go into the huge crowd of people. I'm having fun so far, it's just hard to find time to sit down and play this game. I hate playing games like LO when you know you only have an hour to play ; ;

I don't want to compare LO with FF12 but...I wish there were hunts type thing in LO...need more side quests >.<!!!

I think I'm at 25 hours or so and i'm about 2-4 hours after the part you're at. I bought the guide because I enjoy having it for RPG's, and try to only use it sparingly but you can probably tell i've cheated a lot, lol.

I haven't stopped to grind anything once, I'm just in it for the story and challenge on my first play-through. I enjoy the game more when I have to deal with not having every ability or being underleveled for boss fights, lol.

I just got past the part where Kaim has found Sarah and she joins your group. So now I'm in the Black Cave. I'm really enjoying the game up to this point so far. It's like Final Fantasy -1. But let's face it, any RPG that SE makes will always inevitably be compared to the Final Fantasy series.

I bought the Japanese guide before I even bought the game...I just wanted the pictures lol. I haven't even used it once tho...(also don't remember where I put it....)

I think playing FFXI for so long kinda made my expectations for RPG to be a bit exaggerated (don't even know if that's the right word to use here...). I keep thinking every RPG needs to be at least 80+hrs and then an extra 60-200+ hrs just for side quests...I know I know...I'm crazy...but that would probably be the ideal RPG for me!

I just hope that LO has sequels, etc to come...because somehow a part of me feels like I just paid for a quickie, I want a "relationship" damnit! Something that makes my roommate call the police because I haven't move away from my controller in days...is that just too much to ask for?

Sadly, but true! I think nowadays....FF is like a ruler people use to measure RPGs with...I mean for newcomers to the genre. Sarah is cute, I mean her mannerism and such...I wanna see Kaim and Sarah kiss

The only thing that really bugs me is the massive amount of cleavage that is being "broadcast" in the game...these women aren't very modest (except Seth....)!!!
