I just got through the Black Cave and made it over to Halloweentown. That was the first thing I thought of when I walked into that city. Looked like it was straight out of Nightmare Before Christmas or some other Tim Burton movie.

Am I dense? It's just taken me the best part of a week to find where they'd jammed disc 4 in the middle of the instruction manual I didn't bother to read.

Just got through the Sorceress' Mansion and am now ungimpifying Sarah before I carry on with the story. Loving it so far though (yes I'm behind you guys cos EU version came out a couple of weeks later and I have to share the game with my fella so playtime is halved)

Oh I thought EU got the better casing with the double size casing? Mine came in the paper sleeve thing and it was out in the open inside my case Double check if yours is scratched tho!

Well heh the sooner you finish each disc the sooner you can pass off the disc! Yeah ungimping the immortals is probably the most important thing since they get to set so many skills. I usually try to learn every skills possible before advancing the story. Hope you're having as much fun as some of us did :D

Well I finished off disc 2 and have now moved onto disc 3. I just got to Ghotza. That tyrannosaurus mob in the ice cave was a fucking push over. Just kept comboing him until he died. He deserved to die, he has short arms!

i do have a couple questions for this part
1- can anyone recommend a place to lvl up skills/farm stuff? i have been messing around in the terrace cave. getting SPs and components. i know exo mentioned a place that gave 20SP per battle with doubleSP skill.

2- as far as storyline goes, after the start of disc4, do you enter that burning cave underwater?

To skill up just go to an easy dungeon and plow through enemies. The amount of skillpoints you get per battle never really scales. I found the Crimson Forest to be rather nice.

Just beat this...

Easily one of the best games I've played. I loved it. The story was good, slightly confusing at times, but what really pulled it along and made it enthralling was the history of the characters and their back story. I found myself almost tearing up at some of the dreams. They really pull at your emotions, which I love. Of course, the graphical element was amazing.

Favorite Character: Jansen, without a doubt.

Favorite Scene: On the boat, after the first dungeon on disc 4. If you have played through the game, you will know what I mean. That scene is easily the best scene of its type i've seen.

Have just a "wow" feeling after beating it.

I've fallen a bit behind. Been playing the shit out of Call of Duty 4 still but instead of playing Lost Odyssey I've been playing Knights of the Old Republic for a little bit. But I threw this in last night and I just got past the part where Kaim and Sarah have to run through the freezing train to save Mack and Cooke.

I might actually play it today after I leave work. After the Penguins - Flyers game of course.

The best part of this game is the dreams. I've read a lot of reviews that have said they would rather see them in a CG cinema or some kind of cutscene but I totally disagree. Once you get used to the pace of the game and accept the slower speed of the story, you can really start to appreciate the dreams. They are all very well written and set to a great soundtrack, I wouldn't change a thing. And yes, text is just deeper then a CG cutscene sometimes, you get more story and more information. Anyone who played Morrowind and then played Oblivion can agree with me on that.
