Anyone in EU found expansion for preorder?

I've searched where i would normally would show up but it's not for preorder seeing as it's only a few weeks away now i'm a bit concerned.

I'm having exactly the same problem. None of the usual websites are even showing WotG as being released in November. It's like the title doesn't exist at all.

If I don't see any mention of it I will go to a store I know in Leeds to try and pre-order it. They tend to specialise in Final fantasy stuff and understand the importance of this franchise.

Appearently FFXI WotG for PC and Xbox360 in europe won't come out in stores, not at start at least, but only as downloadable digital content from the web =/

They may release a new mega-pack with game and every expansion (WotG included) on a DVD, some time after, who knows?

i tried hmv, game, play, amazon, a load of other random gaming sites, nothing at all, tried to email SE no response ;;

not surprising if it is downloadable though, they didnt really put much effort into TAU when that was "off the shelf" - e.g. the TAU manual was like 2 pages lol

Only thing I have noticed was that a couple of weeks ago you could type in the title into amazon and it was confused. Now if you type it in it links to final fantasy xi products.

If it is download only for EU then I won't be too bothered. So long as we can all get it before it goes live. I'm not one for insisting on having a box that only sits on the shelf. But if this is the case then why is there no official announcement to this effect?

And if it is to be sold normally through shops why the hell doesn't anyone in the retail industry know anything about it?

Nah, by this time everyone I knew had pre-ordered ToAU. I had a look on the EU WoTG site, and there is nothing about a) where to buy it and b) nothing saying it will be available for download. Gamestation have it mentioned on their site, but that it is "Out of Stock" (bloody useful). I might go pester them when I next go past one.

I am praying it isn't download only - cause my shitty 2MB broadband is likely to collapse at the thought.

All the prices on there are in $s... So I'm guessing that would only be an NA copy of the game?

I've posted this on alla and someguy says he emailed play and they said there waiting for confirmation of release date and price which they should get for Friday so should be able to order then. If thats true we will have to wait till Friday i guess.
