    Re: Low man Swift Belt?

    NINx3, THF, BSTx2, RDM, WHM

6 out of 6 belts, 5 of which were the Hume NM and the last one was Mithra NM. Suffice to say, everyone was pretty impressed by the drop rate.

edit: forgot to post that IT+ charmed Blubber Eyes got Balor (Hume) down 10% before I even pulled it back to camp.

If your hate is 0... and you want to get this done as fast as possible, what is the best way, go kill fomors in coast on a 75 job? or just mess with the ones in sacr?

And is really about 40 to get to the right hate lvl from 0?

    Always bring a THF. Always.

I haven't tried it, but I bet THF, BLU, RDM could trio it. Head Butt would probably MORE than make up for lack of Ni if the BLU is in spam mode with Haste and Refresh on.

One thing to remember for this zone is that you CAN use Hide to lose hate on Fomors. The only thing that could prevent this is the BST Fomors with the Bats. You can hide from the Fomor, but not its pet. I don't know why, but apparently fomors track by sight. Note, however, that if they aren't pulled out of their area (enough to despawn them) and you are too close, you will just re-aggro them immediately.

I've done both Hume and Elvaan as trio, well 4 if you count the dualbox thf we used for TH.
We used Nin (with full lvl 50 cap gear) Rdm with some gear, brd with instruments and rings and a thf with a weapon. The actual 50cap gear helps alot, lvlcaped gear often gives low/no bonuses. Used an evasion setup and March/mambo for the elvaan, and a more normal setup for hume. I can easily see ppl loosing elvaan with just a little bad luck tho, but it isnt hard to get a decent evasionrate on him. (Nin had capped evasion merits at the time to)

Edit: It's possible the nin was nin/thf to, for evasionbonus, it was a pretty long time ago.

It's somewhere between 30 and 40. If you don't want to waste your entire day in Sacrarium, have everyone cap their hate beforehand on the ones outside.

To add to this, it takes about 2 nights worth of duo/trio slaughtering of the fomors before capping hate. I've done it a couple times as rdm + drg or rdm + sam and capped hate after only 2 nights.

I think it's possible to do it in one night with three people in Lufaise Meadows, one camped at the NE tower where a party of 3 spawns, one at the tower east of Megalobugard where a party of 3 spawns, and one up at the campfire among the Leshies where a party of 4 spawns. It might even be possible to do it solo in one night, you'd just have to kill them very fast and then head to the next spot, making the loop twice more.

2 Beastmasters with 2hours on the Hecteyes can EASILY defeat all of the Swift Belt NM's.
I have beaten the Taru NM VERY EASILY with this set-up. All you have to do is have a couple Pet-Foods; once the fight starts, run away from where your eyes and the Taru NM are fighting. Once he releases his Astral Flow, just feed your pet, and then take him down. He was surprisingly easy for me.

Couldn't you just pop a pair of powder boots and dot it at the zone?

This. This a thousand times over. If you count the times I actually came THF and we had TH2, I'm 1/3 (1/2 really, since one of those pops was a "OH MY GOD, RUN TO THIS RACIAL SPAWN BEFORE 2H RUNS OUT..." then we were prompted raped by the taru since there was a slight miscommunication. We were getting ready to pop the hume and a group ran in and steamrolled the room before we could get the second eyes charmed.

Balor is so stupidly easy it's rediculous. The BSTs (one /NIN the other /WHM) stood back and let their pets smack it, and I just poked it with daggers and SA-VB to push hate around while they waited on reward timers.

Trio'd hume one with two dnc's and a bst for mine.
BSTs make it easy, or just two NINs I guess with support.

    GL on drops!

What exactly did they change with the Elvaan one in one of the recent updates?

Has anyone tested exactly how much hate you automatically lose per day? I just want to keep hate capped so that when I get a chance can do this, but wondering how long my capped hate will last..

Mithra with NIN, BRD, and what else would I need? Do you think NIN/DNC BRD/WHM and THF/NIN could do it? How is chainspell dealt with, cure spamming?

I don't think you automatically lose any. I capped mine a while ago in preparation but it turned out I didn't have to pop a codex. I believe it's still capped but I'd have to go check in Tav to be certain.

And I've never done the Mithra with less than six, but you get through Chainspell with cure spam and/or stun spam. Sometimes she chooses to chain cast stupid things like Stoneskin/Blink/Haste too.

Pretty sure its been proven and it says on wiki even that you lose hate automatically. Just wondering like how much you lose per week/day etc

I remember BLU and headbutt spam working well to stun her.

And I just ran out to the stale draft to check my hate and it's still capped. Haven't killed a fomor either in the 2ish months since I capped it. So I really doubt it decays on its own. Unless the decay rate is horridly slow.

Galka Mithra and Hume can be trio'd Messing with the others without more then a normal party is a bitch. I'd say out of all of them in order of easy to tough would be Galka, Huma, Mithra, Taru and Elvaan being a total bitch with his Triple Attack and Crit spams.
