    As for Limbus, it's boring repetitive and too easy; You can do it in auto-nuke mode basically. Reward are good true;

Dynamis is a good entertainment but it's too long. Dreamlands are better.

I prefer salvage though, due to it presenting some challenge, even if you are an expert of salvage. The randomness of cells is part of the challenge.

As for "champain" and "campagne" discussion... The JP text certainly doesn't refer to "champaign" but to "campagne" whcih can either mean countryside or campaign ( military campaign in this case).

One thing that might save this from the early get go is attacks on all three cities at the same time. Dividing people up should help limit the lag, then again depending on restrictions all the lowbies who don't have Al Zahbi access are gonna be in on the action.

I'm really enjoying how FFXI is becoming as it matures. I hate XPing, I've never done Salvage or Limbus and have no interest in either, I've done Dynamis once and have little interest in doing it again, I've never camped a HNM. Yet am I bored? Anything but! Besieged, the Pit, crafting, chocobo digging, helping friends, chatting, there's still tons for me to do!

It's really becoming (nearly) something for everyone.

Just for fun, I will add further confusion to this!

Champagne is a countryside district in France! Its where all the Champagne is made.

    http://www.winexperience.com/article/10 ... -District/

    La Campagne de Champagne
And a company from the Champagne countryside would be une compagnie de la campagne champagnoise. I'm growing convinced that it's something boring like "company", and at this point we're just involved in an anglo-franco-japanese linguistic circle-jerk.
This is the hottest thing anyone has ever said to me (on these forums.)

Company does seem the most realistic (ex: Company of Soldiers.) Champagne being the most random name for a war time event, although they did name the countrside outside of Jeuno the Sauromugue Champaign, but I guess that might be another example of the French word for countryside being lost in translation. Countryside is slightly possible as the events are in the Vana'diel countryside.

That's how it was for my group! :D
My group still killed all 4 bosses prebox/cell drop boost, and got some completed armor pieces.

Doesn't change that the fact you're limited to like few NM and have to choose between NM run and boss run on non bhaflau zone. The 2000 AP entry fee on top of that makes it far from the "zomg best fucking event ever" that it is now, especially before the implementation of RvB and FL assaults with huge AP payout.

Let's just face it, SE's horrible at getting shit right the first time, I think assaults and nyzul are the only event out of ToAU that isn't a complete failure at start, even then some of them is still annoying and nyzul on some part dissapointed the populace since hype doesn't match the actual drop. Maybe they'll break the streak, but I'm just stating their track record of 3 events with horrible implementation on the recent year. If we want to go further back, there is EF and Garrison, when was the last time any of you do those? As far as overhyped event with little to no interest in the end, I'm sure everyone is gambling all their lifesaving away in Chocobo Circuit, I'm just waiting for them to remove the limitation of entering and exiting from the same entry so people would actually use the zone.

Hmmm Campagnie isn't a french word.
It seems to be a mispelling of the English word campaign, or the the French word campagne (countryside).
Not a misspelling, a transliteration. Japanese does not have a way to represent Campagne directly, and the Japanese reading is actually Canpanie (Cannes-pun-e-eh).
Yeah i searched "Campagne" w/o the eye

but the more i think of it its probably Campaign

Oh wow! Dynamis, Limbus, Salvage, Einherjar, Sky, Sea and HNM and now Campagnie! Hell, they want us play 24h/day! And the week of a FFXI player should have 10 days, not 7!

In this thread, Englishmen insult eachother. Not wanting to feel left out, you're both cunts and I don't do Salvage.

I wasn't aware that being English was such a lofty aspiration. For a country that's produced such epic contributions to the world's culture as David Beckham and Katie Price, the standards for being English are sufficiently low that anyone, even you, can pass muster.

Edit: Sup derail. So about that wine/country/campaign/company thing...

Don't forget Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse. I don't know a single song that either one of them did, all I know is that they are both spectacular messes.
