I was kind of disappointed seeing my named deliberately removed for "(Rough Translation)," but I IM'd Charitwo and made a small post.

More importantly, I just picked Famitsu and Dengeki for the week. Gonna put up some better quality pics and see what info I can glean. Don't have time for a full work-over since my plane's today, but I can throw a little something together.

Just want to note first that I gave Ganipedia permission to use these pictures, so don't worry if they show up there. Frankly, they have so many users that one of them is bound not to give a crap and upload them anyway. So this way you can enjoy the info without getting riled up.

Thought I'd throw this in:

About the Wrestler thing, I'd guess it could refer to the Vikings from the North that battled against Gigas before they transferred to the mainland for the Shadow Lord's army. Viking was in Final Fantasy III, but its main ability, Provoke, was already given to Warrior. Still, it's a tank job through-and-through and has some basis story-wise, since they were a legendary tribe to the North whose strength rivaled the mighty Gigas. They're only briefly mentioned in the Life In Vana'diel book, but recently Square Enix has been taking more and more from it.

Anyway, just my guess.

I only deleted the duplicate, albeit the wrong one (i didn't know, work firewall filters BG), they have since been switched. But seriously, I could give fuck all what you have to think or say, thanks to the mysterious .htaccess ban from BGwiki, so fuck you. And I don't care about having sources on the articles, it's Mierin the one to bitch at.

Campaign

This is the collective term given to the series of battles and border skirmishes waged in the Quon and Mindartian theaters during the Crystal War.

All those wishing to serve would enlist with one of the allied army's three main forces--the Kingdom of San d'Oria, the Republic of Bastok, or the Federation of Windurst--to combat the ever-advancing beastmen
confederate comprising the Quon Host of the Orcish Empire, the Quadav Shieldwarriors, the Yagudo Theomilitary, and the Shadowlord's Dark Kindred. However, a volunteer's duties were not always limited to direct engagement with the enemy. Campaign endeavors also extended to tasks such as marches, supply runs, entrenchment and fortification, and cooperative maneuvers with allied forces.

It would not be an exaggeration to say it was through a delicate balance of military prowess and comprehensive strategy that these campaigns were ultimately able to lead the allies to victory.
