i was never a huge fan of the music (will always be atdi/volta biased) but i definitely agree about the live show, the last time i saw them almost 1 year ago they were opening for the trail of dead and it was really great

You can't call them trite, as they were one of the first ones to do exactly what they did. They weren't necessarily the best musicians, but they were definitely original.
