Cool idea but they should have done this a long time ago when the game first came out. If they are smart they do something similar to what Phantasy Star Universe does where you can go into your friends' rooms even if they are offline and look at their bazaar and items.

Also, I can't understand why you guys are never happy with any sort of update they come up with. Do you all just enjoy hating on stuff that secretly you enjoy and use all the time?

They actually talked about this when I first bought the game in the fall of 2003. I vividly remember their being talk about being able to go into other people MH. Better late than never I guess. Sounds super exciting...

People did get excited about the 2h and grips update, so when the stupid shit gets picked apart I think it's hard to say people bitch about every update just because you want to bitch about people bitching.

People don't have to say they like a feature to like it. I imagine there's a certain crowd that's going to like this a lot - the same crowd that you see sitting in Jeuno afk overnight together, with bazaar messages professing their love for someone else's digital avatar, with roses bazaar'd for max gil.

Moghouse needs to be a lot bigger floor space-wise Wish we could spend Nation Conquest Points in order to purchase additional rooms and floors, maybe a basement too. Then maybe people would have a good reason to do merit parties in the old areas in order to earn conquest points to expand the floor space of their moghouses

Whatever happened to that windower function of letting people come into your moghouse across server they were talking about sometime ago?

People at the Windower forum cried about it, and it went the way of timestamp.

Huh? You mean that feature is in 3.3 too, just like timestamp?

Actually I ment that it took about a billion years for timestamp to get released even though it was probabliy done over a year ago.
I wish the Windower devs would grow some balls.
I doubt the cross server moghouse plugin will ever get released because they are worried it will tarnish Windower's o-so pure reputation.

Actually it was never released because it could have been very easily backwards engineered, and made use of quite a few packet injection techniques so it would have been a very good basis for any eager coder to learn his way through how the packet encryption for FFXI worked and created all sorts of devilish hacks.

However, this information is common knowlege when you know where to look or who to talk to, so in theory the plugin would be of little harm nowadays, it was just never released.

He means enough people complained about how easily caught these 'features' would be by a GM or someone paying attention to server logs and they were canned as toys for Cliff and his manthra friend only.

It wasn't because people complained, it was because of the method he used to code it. Because of the nature of the plugin he was working on and how it had to communicate between computers it would have been an open door for anyone that wanted to hack accounts.

Really, I don't understand why after saving the planet more than a half-dozen times why I am in the same sized mog house that I had when I started the game.

I like this idea, not it's not a fix to king camping, but it's something minor that many people have wanted for years. Now I just need some extra floor space, and a hot tub...
