Whatever happened to that windower function of letting people come into your moghouse across server they were talking about sometime ago?

It was never made public because it used the packet hooks in Windower, which Cliff was too afraid to include in a public release, in fear of someone disassembling Windower and finding it. There were actually plans to have it released, it just never happened. (And never will now that it's being included in the expansion, probably.) Reminds me of how StarHawk made a plugin to prevent you from throwing your ammo--the day before the patch that made items like Hedgehog Bomb unthrowable.

It had nothing to do with complaints (wtf did anyone even complain?) And timestamp was not released in the past for other various reasons that are not exactly pertained to being detectable Hince why you see it out now.


Well, whats this mean? Windower wins? SE is stealing our ideas now! Maybe they are starting to listen.... I guess the fact over 10% of the playerbase uses windower (60k+) is finally making them understand.
