also, the song in op needs more emo prairie dog
I hated the music in the video that JP suggested (2nd video) (not into this kind of music at all), but the video itself was really cool.
Yeah there's that one JP metal band... Dir En Gray... Fucking shit music, neato music videos.
Just described every single J-??? genre out there.Originally Posted by Tricen

I kinda liked that song >.>; while I'll agree not the best song, but I liked it better than Pt. 1.You can rest assured, we wont be shitting out any "Vermillion Pt. 2"'s on any album we pay our own money to record any time soon.
I will only admit to liking that song (Slipknot is terrible) simply because it was well put together. The solo is lol though.

I am very happy Euro Death/Black Metal/ etc... bands rarely sellout... only major example that pops to mind is In Flames. Amazing how a band can go from so much awesome to so much suck.
Wasn't really an emo-y song... It went along with the concept of the album, and the radio cut was only like half the song. It goes into some wierd Wizerd of Oz shit.... It's kinda like Televators, but not as good really.Originally Posted by chicomagiko
Songs dont really have to be "emo-y" to be considered sell outs(unless fiddy cent did an acoustic version of "at da club"). Also, i mentioned "the widow" since its the only song of theirs that that was played everywhere on the radio(KIIS, KROQ come to mind though the fact that KIIS played it really upset me >..<)* I love tmv(i really do) but its both refreshing and insulting when your teenybopper neighbor is blasting it alongside her nsync or trl inspired shit.
*KIIS is top 40s station popular with teenyboppers and christian soccer moms, kroq is an "alternative rock station that plays the same 10 songs in a row)

Side note: All metal bands should have women as vocalists, cus i read in a bathroom that womens' vocal strings are much stronger than mens', plus they scream louder.
Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Satyricon, Entombed, Dodheimsgard, Covenant/The Kovenant, Paradise Lost, Kreator (temporarily with "Endorama"), pretty much the entire roster of Napalm Records (minus Summoning), and way too many more. Basically, once these bands started getting Marilyn Manson CDs they saw dollar signs and went nuts.Originally Posted by Vinen
Those bands sold out to begin with.
Don't forget the majority of Nuclear Blast and soon to be Century Media.Originally Posted by Dolmen

Edit: After perusing your Last.fm, Amarok, you rule for listening to Alcest.
This Alcest album is one of the best albums I've heard in a long time. I still haven't been able to find his older demosOriginally Posted by Dolmen
Dub Buk's "Idu na Wy!" is one of my all time favorite albums. Labels like Drakkar and No Colours are still pretty good for backing quality bands.
Also, I promise anything on my LastFM like Fergie or Eminem is from my girlfriend -_-
