TP BURN KIRIN please help!

I notice sometimes when the shell I'm in does kirin, still kiting cause it's safe, we get mini-TP burn periods where a bunch of us have TP and zerg him for a little bit, but since we don't have a big bunch of DD's in at once, there isn't enough hate bouncing so people tend to drop, get dropped, and new DD's subbed in, then he starts kiting again.

Imagine you could do a semi-TP burn like that if you wanted to get a feel for it, do the usual kite til mini's, kill them, then get two parties of DD's buffed up, swap the kite party into that alliance and zerg til he dies or people start dropping too badly.

I wanted to add : what's even more fun than TP Burning Kirin, is to straight Tank him. We did that a few times, because we usually do 3-4-5 Kirins in a row and don't really wanna wait for 2 hours to be recharged. Fights last a bit longer, and he even pops lesser gods so we usually have a BLM team to deal with them. It's a little bit more interesting than TP burning IMO...well you have to try both

or you can just have a melee invite the BRDs and after they drop out invite the WHMs and hand them leader.

btw, why DRK/WAR? berserk is useless for SE Zerg. DRK/NIN to not get onsehot, DRK/MNK or DRK/DRG for pure DD. Unless you mean DRK/WAR for non-KC/Mkris/w/e zerg weapon, in which case DRK kinda sucks for Zerg without a zerg weapon.

Giving melee leader is not the best idea, since melee have a high chance to die in this fight and a dead leader can't invite BRDs for rotation. Really the 3 more melee aren't necessary with 6 BRD songs up. And I said DRK/WAR cause we usually doing 3-5 Kirin in 1,5 hours, so you can't do BW for every fight. But honestly I think you don't need anything but MNK, WAR or SAM for Kirin.

So you are talking about TPburn with no 2hrs, I see. That's more of just a melee burn and t2t then, not really the straight zerg I thought, which is completely diffetrent then what most people were talking about. In my set-up is was just BRDs sing and then are useless cause Kirin is dead in 50s. Also, if you read, we had melee switch leader to WHMs after BRDs dropped but you are talking about a completely different strat/set-up.

We went and attempted it tonight. Messed up the pull, Popped Kirin when only 3 songs got up on each party! LOL!

Took Kirin down in 1Minute 27 seconds first try!! To me was a very cool accomplishment. Got Cpants and Osode/Shining cloth. The best 1MIN 27Seconds ever. We had 3 deaths. (2 hour wasnt horrible, but I think it may have gone differnt if Carby would have been summoned.

Anyways, again! appreciate all the help.... Now are next test..... No 2 hours

Yea we usually doing normal melee burn, cause when we do Kirin it is usually 5 pop sets. The last one we go all out with 2hours and it dies in 1minute as well. ^^

If you must have the PLDs in alliance for the fight (Can't get 18 otherwise, or the alternatives are even worse), then at least you can have them all Rampart around ~60% to soak up a good amount of AF damage. Not to mention Shield Bash for StonegaIV and Cover for some of the more hardcore DDs. They don't need to have hate to be useful.
