PLD noob question

Needless to say, I never bothered to get AF+1 body. I do think its worth it for /NIN if you don't have AF2 though. Get AF+1 feet first though.

I got my AF+1 boots a week after I got sea, then had the HQ body like two weeks after that. Both pieces seemed to drop pretty fast for me.

My Limbus group used to do NW a lot for coin farming runs when we weren't chip farming. The turtle NM in NW drops the White Rivet and we always skipped it -_-

Although saying that, we've actually had quite a few PLD peices drop recently.

took me 4 months of going twice a week to see snowy cermet, then another two months to see white rivet. its been about 3 months since i upgraded and all we have seen is 1 more white rivet. im so happy i only wanted to upgrade the feet and i was normally the only person with pld levelled in my group, cos its rare as fuck for us.

jelly ring (63) if you can get one and hercules ring (66). woodsmans at 40 are nice too.

If you're fighting anything that doesn't have some form of magical attack, this is true. However, I can't think of hardly a single mob in the game that this would apply to. Jelly Ring is pretty pointless. I got mine and put it in storage a week later, never to be heard from again.

Yes, -5% damage on the 10 melee swings and 50% chance of a physical ws is totally not worth 5% more damage on a magical attack. Unless you're fighting say, Eruca's where Incinerate can one-shot you if you're not topped off in hp there's really no loss in using the jelly ring.

It doesn't even apply there as the only thing that reduces breath damage is -breath, not +/- magic.
