Well if I had ONE gun to choose from it would either be M16 with red dot + Fragx3 + Stopping Power (I'm sorry...if you don't use this, rethink how you play this game) + Deep Impact (see Stopping power description) or AK-74U (the strongest automatic bullets in the game) + Bandolier + Stopping Power + Deep Impact/Steady Aim. I dunno but Overkill seems like just that. Overkill. I have different classes setup depending on how the flow of the map is going, and they can easily be changed. Though I can see it being nice to be able to M16 someone's ass from across the map, I just can't imagine killing people in this game without stopping power anymore, I'm so used to it.

I'm only lvl 32ish but I use the best light machine gun (I forget the name) with Double tap and red dot, its fucking amazing. I also use (epical hates this setup) my G3 with an ACOG scope for long distance matches, I prefer a G3 with stopping power and ACOG to the sniper rifles.

For close combat I either use an Ak-47U (no P90 yet) with double tap or a shotgun with the running thing and grip.

I use the M16 and red dot with bandolier, stopping power and deep impact almost exclusively and it works wonders. Only time I use something different is when I'm playing Hardcore, there I use an M4 and red dot with Claymores, Double Tap, and Steady Aim.

Do you get anything other than the achievement for beating Mile High Club on Veteran? If you don't get anything else I'm about to not even bother with it.

I don't believe overkill is overkill. With the M14 you can kill people from long distances, and up-close there is nothing better than a shotgun. I also don't think deep impact is that great unless a significant number of your kills are killing people through walls.

It's not really luck. Watch some of the videos out there on youtube if you need a hand. Just need to know when to throw your flash grenades and where to stand to stop enemy spawns mostly.

I have the achievement... it's 90% luck 10% skill.... even though that 10% skill is extremely important too, the actual strategy isn't that hard to get.

I have 4 custom classes I use:

Run N Gun (M4 + Bandolier + Stopping Power + Martyrdom)
Shhh (M16 + Bandolier + UAV Jammer + Deep Impact)
Snipe (waiting for .50 cal + 2x Claymore + UAV Jammer + Deep Impact)
Grind (gun I'm trying to exp + Bandolier + Stopping Power + Deep Impact)

Eventually I'll change my Run N Gun setup from the M4 to the P90 or M14 depending on what kicks ass more when I go and experiment.

Good, then I'm going to be doing it on the easiest difficulty just to say I beat the game then I can start getting Intels. ><

Well the intels don't seem to do anything for you either... unless you're playing on the 360.

Gathering the Intels unlocks the cheats that you can turn on from the main menu.

* 2 - "CoD Noir" Play the game in black and white.
* 4 - "Photo-Negative" Game colors become inverted.
* 6 - "Super Contrast" Game's contrast increases.
* 8 - "Ragtime Warfare" The game feels like an old silent movie.
* 10 - "Cluster Bombs" One frag grenade thrown equals five in explosion.
* 15 - "A Bad Year" Enemies explode into tires when shot.
* 20 - "Slow-Mo Ability" Game plays at 40% normal speed.
* 30 - "Infinite Ammo" Just what it says.

EDIT: Just learned something for Multiplayer that people may have already been aware of but I wasn't, but when you complete all the total kills and total headshot challenges for a weapon it unlocks a gold version of that weapon to be used.

Oh that's right forgot about the cheats heh.. the game doesn't let you get any achievements if you use them at any point during a mission, so I avoided them (I actually tried using the unlimited ammo during the mile high on veteran one time to see if I can turn it off at the end and still get the achievement but it didn't work. )

I have that done for the carbine, but I don't see an option for a gold one =/

I've seen the Golded camo listed (or are you saying you see Golden listed but it's still grey?). I do believe it said to complete all the challenges for that weapon to unlock it - perhaps it's just certain weapons?

I thought someone originally said you unlocked golden camo by working your way to rank 55 a couple times (resetting for the medal and all).

To get Gold Camo, you must complete *all* the challenges for that weapon "type" like all the Assault guns, or All the Sniper guns...etc etc From what I understand at least

Same here then. Anyone else notice something fishy about the head shot system though? I can sneak up on a guy, put the red dot on his head and not get a head shot.
