Lol at competitive 360. Anyways, I haven't played for about a month because COD4 is/was just too god damned easy. I never once got outscored on any server when I wasn't dicking around with stupid gun combos. Back playing CS atm because it's a better game x 10. That said, COD4 was fun and I could see some competitive play being interesting. Finishing Veteran on SP was the last real thing I did and it wasn't as bad as you guys made it out to be...I don't think any level took me more than 5-10 tries.

Some people don't wanna spend 2k+ on a new comp just to stay competitive. And I hope you ran back to 1.6 and not source lol.

You can do it for $800 or less if you don't shop on dell's or HP's website.

Notice I said stay competitive and not play. For $800 I can get one that will play it fine but I won't be getting 100+ FPS and to play competitively you pretty much need a top of the line system or you start out a disadvantage.

Just a quick question;

Im playing COD4 on the PC, and recently i have been getting "connection interrupted". I read through some of the COD4 forums and alot of people say its down to the server, even though the server shows the hosts ping as 25-75 and mines around the same

Is this a running thing, or will it be resolved in the next patch.

Anyone got any insight to this. Thanks alot.

Picked this up the other day for the 360. Beat the story on Hardened, and it was awesome. Online play is really addicting, although I got my ass handed to me frequently (GoW and Halo Noob >.>).

I do have a issue though. I cannot find my own matches. I get the "Searching for matches" and "Getting match quality", and it just keeps doing that. The only way I can play is if I join a friend and they search. It's really distressing. I can't seem to find a solution to it, though.

I'm pretty sure it is because of congestion with all the new X-mas players ect. Atleast, thats what I heard I have problems like this occaisionally on the PS3 version, even after the fact that the PS3 got a connectivity patch addressing problems like this :/

I never really had any trouble with it till the day after X-mas, just wait till all the kids go back to the school and everything should be back to normal.

Yeah its just congestion, there's seriously like 200,000 people playing at once, I dont think they expected that many players.

Oh yeah, and the PC version works because its not nearly as popular. Though I'd KILL for dedicated servers. Literally, kill.
