COD4 is amazing. only revision i can think of is the freaking lethality of airstrikes because dying consecutively from airstrikes is ridiculous. also, grenade can really use another half a second or a second delay in detonation time.

If you mean airstrikes being lethal, they usually aren't unless you're standing out in the open like an idort when it hits. I habitually check the radar and if the red plane icon looks like it is going to pass over my position, I duck into a building and take splash damage at best. If you mean you're getting killed by the same airstrike that killed you when you respawn, just don't respawn as soon as you die.

Also, you can cook grenades by holding down the throw button, so that wouldn't help much. If you're getting killed by Martyrdom all the time, just sprint any time you hear the clink, because by the time the danger indicator pops up you're already dead.

Airstrikes are amazing fun. My friend is amazing at CoD4, managed to wipe out an entire team with 1 Airstrike. We were pissing ourselves laughing for a good 10 minutes.

I hardly ever die to airstrikes, since if there's a building to be in I'm usually in it picking people off (stubborn attempts to snipe).

I usually lay down if I see an airstrike coming, even if it hits me I take damage but I usually dont die to it if theres no building cover.

I like to use airstrike on shipment(think its the small map), the other day kill over 100ppl on it because i used like 3 airstrike in a row.

I wouldn't count on it any time soon as they are mostly working on all the connection issues with the PS3 and 360 version(I haven't heard of the PC version having problems)

So yeah...beat it on Veteran because the servers are completely unplayable...wasn't really everything everyone made it out to be. It wasnt hard so much, as completely backwards and unrealistic in how the whole pacing of the levels worked. It has next to nothing to do with skill and reaction time and everything to do with just playing a stage over and over again to memorize when you can just run through and have your squad advance. Otherwise enemies just keep on coming and you make no progress, or get grenaded to oblivion. (for the most part.)

Game really only shined in the stages where skill and strategy got you through, like the War room at the end, I felt really depended on how you used flashes, grenades, cover etc. Tried Mile High Club for a half hour before the game tonight, and noticed that really the only issue is picking up a gun and it having full ammo or 1 bullet left...so fucking stupid that the ammo count is random when you shoot a guy the second he spawns. Anyway, should have it in the next hour if I try again, made it to the VIP once but fucked it up. Can't see how time is really an issue, you pretty much HAVE to rush in Veteran or risk the enemy setting up and gunning you down.

I guess I just suck really bad cus I can't see how in the world you can beat mile high club, if you just sprint past them won't they shoot you? you don't really have time to shoot all of them.

I've since quit and am staying 980/1000 forever.

There are some good youtube vids out there that show you how, but it's still extremely hard and revolves around being insanely lucky, so..

Ehhh..to be honest I wouldnt follow his route as religiously as probably most of you are. His is meant to get the BEST time possible, as you can tell with him getting 39secs. Thats 21 fucking seconds to spare, 1/3 of the time you're given, so think of ways you can make it easier to cut your slack.

Things I change. I shoot the fucker in the bathroom, to be honest it takes a fraction of a second longer and he shoots me WAY too often to warrent taking the risk of leaving him alone. I shoot the shotgun guy from afar, and I shoot the guy to the right of the beginning corridor, (though he has a P90 and sometimes he just mows you down, so thats hit or miss). After that I keep my MP5 till I run out of the clip, then pick up the shotgun (hope it has more than fucking 1 shell) and blast my way through after I flash them all. Make sure the flash lands IN that room, if you throw it into the forked corridor you'll miss anyone in the two corner, aka you're dead. So annoying that 99% of wether or not you succeed is dependent on who gets flashed, but that's life.

After that its the typical flash, run and duck and let your team take out that room...pretty simple. Usually I like to stand up as Im running and try and be aware of who WASNT flashed as I head for that downed table, and blast him. Normally its noone or just one guy and it keeps me from dying before I make it there.

After that, I run up, throw a flash down one side and head up. In this area I really dislike the shotgun, but Im usually stuck with it anyway. P90 is awesome here as you can really just mow down the next corridor. Best bet is to flash the corridor, and it hits a large majority of the guys, the rest just keep an eye on, and knife/shoot whoevers left. Have fun shooting the guy in the head...I've already fucked that up more times than I care to admit. /cry.

I have played a shit ton of Socom/Resistance, but my heart was racing from the begining till the end...didnt know I got so many kills till the end, couldnt pull up the List LOL

Im @ a 2.10 K/D (16K+ Kills/7.5+ Deaths) and close to a 2/1 Win/Loss ratio, around lvl 27 on the Green Diamond Prestige Mode...guessing thats #3

I did Mile High Club on every difficulty but veteran so far. It's all about timing and rushing. As long as you let your team take out most of the people on your way up and use your flashbangs it's easy.

Hmm I smell bullshit. That or he's gone from 50+ to 27 since that happened...I can see it happening, first 30 ranks you can blow by if you're good and do domination/headquarters.
