I figured the game was someone modeled after a real life place, but I did not realize how exact they got the imagery down when designing this game. The ferris wheel obviously, but also even the swimming pool in the middle of the city. Quite stunning, my hat is off to IW.

its all about the engine and the way it displays things, i know people who cant play halo3 for more than 15mins, but play UT3 for 6hours straight with no problems.

Those game modes have been in the Xbox version for a while. Also, it's one new game mode, with the rules for a couple changed (Cage Match had Hardcore rules removed, for example).

Hey Everyone --

I wanted to give you the heads up on another small playlist changing coming to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare since the most recent playlist update. We've been listening to a lot of feedback based on the last changes and it seems an overwhelming amount of players think the new Free-For-All score limit is a bit too low, so we're going to be adjusting it a bit and raising it to 125 score limit instead of 100.

Thanks for all your feedback on this, community involvement is extremely helpful as we continue to improve multiplayer and work on future updates for the game.

Patch Update:

Totally unrelated to the playlist change, but I figured I'd give you guys a heads up on the status of the upcoming patch as well. We ran into some bugs with the host migration and therefore required some tweaks and additional testing on said tweaks so the patch is still being worked on. We're working on getting it out as fast as possible, and I'll let you know when we can expect it.

I don't suppose they are increasing sniper damage are they? I mean I don't mind them being hard to aim with or it being easy to dodge sniper fire in this game, but I do wish I could kill someone by shooting them in the neck with some of the most powerful weapons in the world. And that four body shots would put someone down.

I agree. I started out using sniper rifles online but realized I was never really going to get anywhere with them. Kinda sad, because like you said, not only are they actually pretty shitty to aim with (holding your breath, wtf), they aren't as powerful as they should be.

Plus, you can basically "sniper" with any SMG or Assault rifle, which makes it even more pathetic. I've never performed better with a sniper than any other class of weapon and I really want to like it too.

I don't see anything regarding the fixing the party invite feature (It'd be nice if you got a message someone sent you an invite while you're in game. I only see them when I pause the game) Guessing it'll be included in the whole "server upgrade."

I just got Double Tap and holy shit that perk is godly.

I at first hated my AK-74u, but with double tap it is fucking sick

What the hell exactly does this do? I figured they made the guns shoot "faster." So I put it on the G3 in place of the (deal more damage) perk and it made the gun worse. I use the ak47u a lot, so I guess I'll give it a go.

It doubles the amount of bullets you shoot at a time. Doesn't work with single shot weapons. Works great with AK47.

How many times can you do presige mode?

The 50cal sniper rifle is pretty good, If you want to snipe you should do a hardcore match. No kill cams radars and pretty much one shot kills. The down side is not knowing how much ammo you have left.

So anyway, I want to make this fun little build based entirely on stealth... and I want only knife people. It sounds stupid, but that's the point. I have all the obvious traits and stuff ready, but any tips on actually knifing people?

Sprint and UAV. I constantly see people on UAV camping, the idea is to blitz them and knife them before they have a chance, it works well when you know exactly where to run.

Yeah I'd say stun or flash grenades, UAV Jammer and Extreme Conditioning. You'd be surprised just how well you can get around and flank people with UAV and EC. Though to be honest just use a shotgun with this setup, works just as well and is a little more reliable. It's so hard to knife people in this game really, especially if people are smart about watching their backs and taking corners.
