As I said maybe I looked at the wrong thing on the online function, but with the # of rooms open in the thousands, its so hard to find one isnt it. I'll get on later tonight after this paper I'm writing is done and double check. I remember looking at that last night because I ranked up in warhawk last night after a few matches.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by as if anyone that plays the PS3 uses a headset because wouldnt that be the same for the 360 then to? Its actually rare to see people not using them, they help a ton in online fps games.

Everytime i've played online with PS3, i've ran into maybe a handfull of people who could talk. At least 360 comes with a headset so you know 90% of the people online are capable of talking.

Edit: Wait lol, are you seriously saying the sound quality from your cell phone headset is noticably better than a 360 headset? What the fuck lol, it's like PS3 fanboys are in an alternate dimension.

Headsets come with the 360 system (core people don't go online) so likely everyone has one. You're probably talking about your experience with Warhawk, which comes with a mic too so naturally most people will have one.

I didn't have a problem with that on Gears. There's quite a bit of that on Halo 3 but its funny hearing these little kids shit talk. If you don't like it, mute, but that's what happens when something goes mainstream. You attract a lot of young teens, which come with annoying consequences but you can mute them and still have people to play with if you choose.

I used to play with ALOT of young annoying fucks on Gears but surprisingly on Halo it hasn't happened much yet. You'd think it'd be the other way around.

And again, saying that your headset quality is better (when that's up to debate either way) is again just hilarious. Glad I own 360 and don't have to try and argue that the sound quality on my headset is better therefore I must buy COD4 for it.

Eh having to mute people every few minutes is really annoying I hated doing it every few seconds in Counterstrike and still hate doing it. I didn't even get a bluetooth until just recently but it wasn't even for my console but now I do use it for that as well. I never understood why people needed a bluetooth for just public play anyway nobodys going to listen, it's more for playing with friends or clans or whatever.

However I have to say I have never come across some anger crazed kid on any ps3 games, probably because only more adult people can afford it which is good...actually.

Gears was unbearable IMO, one of the reasons I couldn't get into the online aspect of the game.

You all forget that the PC version will be better than 360 and PS3.

I lost any hope in PC gaming when Ubisoft started flinging shit at PC gamers, from what I've seen Activision won't though.

I decided to get CoD4 for PC after all. Turns out it runs pretty nicely on my machine.
Gamepad just didn't cut it for me, I learned this in CoD4 MP Beta and Halo 3. I got bored with Halo 3 multiplayer in a week and pretty much gave up on X360 version of CoD4 after the first time I played the beta.
I got really frustrated in CoD4 MP Beta because aiming was near impossible, and turning 180 took so much time that by the time you had turned around you were already dead.
In Halo, this didn't bother me that much, as the maps were a bit smaller and the "auto-aim" usually helped.

So, I'm going back to the wonderful world of PC FPS games. This will be the first PC FPS game I've played since Half-life 2 came out. To commemorate this, I'm getting a new Microsoft SideWinder Mouse and throwing out my Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer V3.0 that served me for over four and a half years. :D

I mean I could plausibly buy 3 Wii games this month: Mario, Umbrella Chronicles and Lego Star Wars Complete Saga
360: CoD4 which is going to be played for at least a year after seeing how fun that game was, then Assassin's Creed is still a 49% for me right now until I see some reviews, and then Rock Band is still a possibility too (hello $170)

The store i go to never seems to go to the Distro for game pickup, so I will grab this tomorrow. Going to stop by a few other places tonight, but not getting my hopes up. Just be nice to play this tonight, rather than pick it up at lunch tomorrow and have to stare at the box all day long =P

I am reading that friendly fire is on in Ranked Matches now, and i don't remember that from the Beta. I am not clear if these people are perhaps playing on Hardcore/Veteran mode though but even that isn't unlocked until you have a pretty high Rank. Too early to really take any of it without a grain of salt. Just hoping the option is there...
