Saw you making some nice progress last night Tekki! Every time i saw that you were joinable, i was not, and every time i was able to join... you were in a match =P Soon. Hopefully today more people get the game.

So far my weapon of choice is the AK, have that fully unlocked as far as the kills challenge goes. 150 Kills with it for 3 of 3 challenges. 4 more headshots and that is 1 of 3 there, and Digital Camo.

Probably start using another Assault Rifle after that, and once i have Claymore Perk opened, I may start going for the Sniper Challenges.

Played only the first 3 or so levels on Single Player (after spending about 30 minutes on the Cargo Ship Mock Up training to get the achievement for completing it under 20 seconds (i hit 19.25... finally.) The single player is pretty amazing to me, even though the levels are quite short, it is still a very shiny looking single player.

Game Informer gives CoD4 a 10/10

Start to finish, online or off, Call of Duty 4 is solid gold. Some might decry the single-player’s short length or that it’s more of the same, but its amazing quality and the Arcade mode (which lets you compete for points and skill rankings after you’ve beaten the game, á la Halo’s Metagame) more than make up for it. Infinity Ward has delivered on every front, and there is no question in my mind that this is the best action shooter that I have ever played.

And for those of you on 360s, don't forget the CoD4 Live Fire weekend if you are interested. Details here, but essentially a sweepstakes, with prizes handed out every hour. You must register your Gamertag, and then be online playing CoD4 that weekend (16th - 18th) to be eligible. IW Staff is going to be online playing Multiplayer as well, so sounds fun.

I am about as far from an ego driven "pro" as could be (kinda hard to be pro when you are not uber by any means) but loved the Warhawk Clan, and it is always nice to have a group of like minded players to party up with. =) The best parties i have been in in Halo3 lately have just been ladies (zomg wut) and gents that are just having fun, laughing too hard to bother spewing trash talk out of their face.

I have found it odd since normally 360 is all chatter, but so far even when everyone on the team has a mic it has been pretty quiet. =(

I have been reading about the "glitch" in CC's system which basically has them selling the CoD3 + CoD4 package for 29.99. It is all over lolGamefaqs. A lot of stores have been selling the combo for 29.99, as basically it is set up in their system to sell you Cod3, and give you CoD4 for free. Act now while retarded selling terminals last!

It took them a week to fix GH3's issues on the PS3... this could be the same thing.

I hope so, but this would be a crazy server fix if something was wrong. I would think they at least make sure you can hook up to other people. Right it is telling me there is no one to play lol.

Is SRTest.com really reliable? Wanted to see if I could play this with minimum requirements and the only part I failed on is CPU Speed. (Minimum: 2.4 GHz - I Have: 2.27 GHz)

I have read that a few people (who have never previously had issues getting online with Resistance or Warhawk) pop in CoD4 and get stuck at the "Downloading Settings" portion (the very first thing that happens when you search for a match) so yeah. I wouldn't say it sounds like a rampant problem, but that could be part of it.

Could be the same problem as there is with Ratchet and Clank... try removing something from your HDD (preferably a demo) or start downloading one... it fixed my problem with Ratchet, so..
