Your point is microscopic. Are you agreeing with Plow that drugdealers should slip off the enforcement radar? Or disagreeing with the notion that drug sales fuel gang violence whether or not junkies have a safe place to shoot up?

I'm saying that it's retarded to think that the police aren't going to enforce laws about gun violence because those offenders happen to be drug dealers.

You know in a lot of states sodomy is illegal but sodomy laws are not enforced. I rarely see gangbang drug dealing cocksuckers get off the hook for their other crimes because of the nonenforcement policy on sodomy.

Arguing about legalization is all well and good, because it's an actual coherent solution to the entire problem. But then you remember that this is America. We can't even agree on a needle treatment program, and even on the internets someone is going to refuse to admit that it would work. Imagine how well it would go over in the Midwest.

Maybe the only way this is getting solved is when our society has progressed far enough for everyone to agree with me (/sarcasm).
