Applying for Odin World Emigration (Nov. 1)

I don't think the Aery is a good indication of the problem on odin. Its just a general over population. I know from talking to some server transfers that some servers at sitting at 1.5-2k players online while odin is sitting at 4-5k+. Its consistant, there are so many people online all the time. Trying to get an exp camp is a real bitch. Everywhere you go, you see people camping on top of others. I've seen the Cor's in my LS debating the use of Corsairs roll in merit parties instead of and att/acc roll simply because the problem on Odin isn't "How fast can you kill a colibri?" but "How fast can you claim one?" That is really the only complaint I've heard from other server transfers, that they are just shocked at how many people are always online.

We can speculate for hours as to why people came here. I really don't know, I know one group told me they came here right after server switches were allowed because Odin had a solid economy, great reputation and very little problems at the time. Take a quick look at the BG forums for people moving from Odin. I rarely see a name listed there. In fact I check that board fairly regularly and I can only think of 5 or so players that have left. I'm sure the numbers higher than that of course, just saying it seems fairly uncommon to see [ODIN] in that forum.

Currently 11:32am EST friday afternoon and we have 4115 people online.

I for one don't believe this free world transfer is going to solve anything at all. I'd probably be shocked/surprised to hear of more than 50 people server wide leaving. What do I know though, maybe some server switches are already unhappy here and want a free ride elsewhere.

4938 people online on saturday 3:50 PM CET and it's impossible to enter Leujaoam Sanctum to do Assault. Constantly getting "Could not connect to server". Lovely....

As someone said earlier, Odin has a massive JP population, that is very skilled and has played forever. But for whatever reason only a small % still does HNM and stuff, while the rest spam salvage, assaults, Bahamut2, Ouryu, and KS99(I don't know what the JP fascination is with it but every single one does it).

If Odin had the same % of the servers population do HNM as other servers do, nobody would be able to stay connected in aery or dominion etc.

Meritting pre 1pm/post 10pm EST is damn near fucking impossible, hi2u 90-100 people in Thickets/Mire and 30+ in Mamook/Mount Z. During the afternoon, a "/sea all" showed about 1900 players online, around midnight it pretty much doubled.

So yea, the Japanese pop. is ridiculously massive while the NA/EU are considerably a lot less (popular NM camps not being crowded, tons of free xp camps, etc)
