Illidan on Lakshmi quit several years ago and hasn't shown any signs of returning, so I doubt it's the real thing.

Maybe the new expansion is actually helping to recruit former players back to the game. But until the original poster states what race/gender and main job levels of their applicant, we will not know if it was old Illidian or not.

That is the application we got, I hope this help, but seems to be an South East Asian player, so might be the reason why he isn't that noticeable? But have so many jobs at 75 tho, must be playing a lot.

Hi sorry i came to clear this up...my name is Demonslash from Lakshmi..not illidian from Lakshmi.

I took a few months break early this year and came back a few months ago but i play in jp time...its pretty boring to have play in jp time and i cant do events in EST time and there is no Englsih HNM shell in jp time until i met a friend and told me to come ramuh because they do events in my time.

also quite possibly sounds like Demonhunter (no offence if this is not you), but he had all those jobs and similar Smithing.
maybe he's claiming to be Demonslash cause that player has stopped playing.

Sounds like him with the "Leveling THF to pass the time" comment, his last 25 purchases according to FFXIAH.com shows alot of THF related gear being bought.

IIRC the "Demons" have been on the shell for ever. Demonslash and Demonhunter are two different characters. From memory I think I might have heard that DH had access to DS, I could be wrong though. I'm fairly sure that they are two different characters and have been for quite a while (ie dawn of time).

Edit: Woah. My first thought was "Can't be, Demonhunter was just bugging some friends the other day about buying Dynamis currency, and Illidian was already on Ramuh then," but... Looking over their ffxiah profiles, Demonhunter bought a lot of the stuff that Illidian has sold recently, and while his profile ends on the 31st of October, Illidian's starts on Nov. 1st, so there's no overlap between them... Wow. The more I look at this the more and more likely I think it is.

Demonslash hasn't played since February, according to FFXIAH.

Schultz, I think the Demons you're thinking of are Demonhunter and Demonkiller, his brother (might've been cousin, don't remember). They were both Humes, Demonkiller was a PLD back when Demonhunter only had WAR, and they were always leveling together. Demonkiller disappeared a long time ago, as far as I know.

I think the jobs and experience fit Demonhunter the best, though. He has all of those jobs, 100 smithing, and has tried to leave the server before.

Swear I saw Demonslash run past me the other night. I could be wrong with the Demons, but I swear it was those two. I can remember doing Dynamis with DPO and being utterly confused half the time because of the amount of "Demon's" in the shell.

I've never really had any issues in DH, so I can't really say anything bad about him.
