I didn't see one that said, "hey if you've had nothing to do with the argument that's been going on for the last 2 pages feel free to humorously 'keep score'".Also IIRC this is a public forum and I did not see a sign that said "DEBATE: Kuya & Priran | Basis of Homosexuality"
I'll get back to you when i'm done reading it, thanks. If all I have to post to win is contradictory evidence, then yo.
Well now that that's cleared up, afk banging hot chicks.Originally Posted by -Omni

I think there was someone on colbert report that wrote a book about the small differences between gay and straight ppl. The direction your hair swirls is supposed to differ between the 2 a bit.
I saw what I posted being quoted and used to backup people's arguments or people felt it was contradicting theirs, but I'd like to say I wasn't aligning with any of the "sides" which seem to have been drawn. I think everyone to have posted, except Tonko which I mentioned, is not viewing the topic in the right light. Just to reiterate, if you think homosexuality has nothing to do with environment you're fooling yourself, and if you think it has everything to do with being "born" that way you're again, simply fooling yourself. No matter what, you can't discount your predisposition, (i.e. your genetic makeup) and your environments effect on that. It's not a clear cut reason and trying to say so one way or the other just makes you look stupid.
A good example is the studies Kuya has posted. Attempting to say twins are always the same sexual orientation implies the trait is genetic is just stupid. Similarly, to somehow come to the conclusion that every person raised in a certain way will become a certain type of person, or develop X trait of sexual tendencies as a result of that upbringing, is equally stupid.
Now don't go replying to this like "omg you're so wrong i'm so right" because I'm not disagreeing with you I'm simply pointing out the fallacy in your argument.
edit: read over my post and I call a lot of things stupid and I might get bashed for that but I really don't see how anyone can disagree and say something so intricate like the sexual practices of a person is so simple as to be embedded in the DNA or something. I know for a fact there are gay people who at one point in their lives had a perfectly normal heterosexual relationship, if that doesn't prove there isn't simply a perfect line being drawn, then I don't know what does or possibly could. It's obviously infinitely more intricate than anyone makes it out to be.
Also, just to alleviate the possibility of someone drawing conclusions based on my post thinking they can discount it simply by dismissing me as biased, I can safely say I don't give two shits one way or the other. I think this is important because it seems a lot of bisexual and homosexual people feel it's a need to take a stand when topics like these come up and make sure it's known they feel it's not their fault or whatever or it's perfectly natural. And, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that's a bad thing, it's perfectly natural to defend what you love/practice/are, but it reveals either insecurities in the topic or a need to justify the behavior. A simple discussion is more appropriate especially if you're trying to win people over for the topic. In the end though, I don't care what makes someone homosexual, it's really irrelevant; and it seems like the whole purpose of the argument is only to bring validity to the behavior itself when really there should be nothing to defend, eh?

What I'm not doing is getting into discussions of grammar/spelling, or "scorekeeping internet argument points".
Clearly my proper arguments, backed up with some damn fine medical research, are being completely ignored by everyone, since this thread is continuing. Or did people just get frustrated and start attacking grammar/spelling instead?
Maybe that's it.
Speaking of thread over.....
