Well... PUP?![]()
I wonder which of the 2 jobs are actually buffer jobs, DD jobs, mage jobs or are they all above? It's interesting to see SE making jobs seem unique and the fact that it -appears- they'll be adding more lines to macros is awesome. Especially giving the fact that (if I recall correctly) they'll be implementing their own version of Windower in with this expansion. People are going to freak for the first week or so until those at the windower community figure out the new game coding.
It would be nice though if they did allow more inventory/items. It would seem that they can't go beyond 80 items/per 'house/storage/locker' but perhaps they can go ahead and make a new format such as that. In addition to having 'duffel bag' that would allow someone to carry more items on him/her.
All in all, just like ToA, so far these 2 jobs look promising. I do hope scholar does take actual skill to play, mainly in the aspect that you would have to do calculations on the fly ie: FFT to make your attacks worthwhile.
As for the other thing I haven't seen: "Libra/Scanner" on Absolute Virtue - Results: -ERROR-
I'm still hoping the last job is some new Heavy Fighter type. When is the Fanfest so I can start getting my hopes up?
NA Fanfest is the 15th to the 17th.
for those who have played dark age of camelot will know that this is actually similar to Friar of Albion.
Pretty good melee in staffs(however FFXI staff is dissapointing compare to DAOC)
can cure pretty well
seldom use black magics lol
overall its a very powerful and good class in DAOC tho
hope it is as promising or even completely different in FF ^^
Noticed something on the introduction portion of Gnat:
"Some have gone as far as to speculate that Gnoles are the formor Vikings of the Northlands, their bodies contorted by Dark Sorcery."
Not going to say its a hint. Hell, the word "Chemist" was used for ToA's Lamia, and no Chemist job.
As a writer, I am psyched about leveling this job :D
If Scholar has access to existing black and white magic spells at their levels, then I see no reason at all why it won't become the new standard sub for mages. The Grimoire effects can even add new strategies to magic using as well.
Looking at the way they set up the site, I dunno if there are any more jobs. They divide the "jobs" section into two halves and on each job's page is just an arrow to the other job. The whole section looks designed around just those two entries.
Also, the new macro system will have 4000 entries. 10 rows, each with 20 entries, for 20 different jobs = 4000.
Not to mention, thats actually the description for Gnolls, reproduced I assume by mistake on the Gnat description lolOriginally Posted by Dezso

A trained monkey could fix the positions and make it fit 3 jobs. Just make the two existing jobs smaller, move them up and stick your 3rd job in the middle at the bottom, with center justified text. You'd never have guessed that this was a later addition because it will look like you designed it to look like that right from the start.
You're forgetting they seemed to add that page pretty easily, what's saying they can't just scrap it and make another design aswell? Lots of possibilities. Web design isn't set in stone, if anything it's cast in play dough, with a big sign above it that says "Play with me!"
I had a theory once that Viking would be one of the jobs released in this expansion. They would make it possible because maybe the shadowlord wiped them all out since he kind of took over the northlands...
anyways, here's to hoping!
And... lol bearded hume dancer
Scholar? Wtf? I do think it's about time I left this game for good.
You were expecting OneHitKillMageNinja, right?Originally Posted by Neometalrain
