So, this may seem like a stupid question, but are there hammer ons and such like on GH? I'm watching the videos and played during the MTV campus tour thing and didn't notice anything like it. It makes some of the solos muuuuch harder ....

They're smaller, it's very easy to see when you actually play the game. In the smallass youtube screen it's hard though.

Oh man yes, and god is it fun. I started on drums but we would switch it up ever few songs or so. Half a bottle later of Sailor Jerry Rum, I decide it'd be a wise idea to take my turn at the mic and from what my friends tell me, hilarity ensued.

I guess I'd be sitting there watching them all play and forget to sing, so I'd start yelling at the tv about who was fucking up, they said me, and I'd start singing lol. Went back to drums after a few songs as bass and well, it's hard enough to keep up sober on Blackened (hard)....drunk as hell is nearly impossible! Good times though!

One thing I don't like about the way they set up world tour for the band, is that after so many fans you have to play on harder settings to get more fans. Other than that this game is very much win.

I'm giving up on GGaHT... I just can't do this shit, and I dunno which songs to play to get better at the sweep (other than practicing it in practice mode... which i seem to do fine, until it comes to the actual song and I fail miserably.)

Ugh, Dead on Arrival is rough on Drums Expert. I can get to around 50%, but my rock meter just slowly declines throughout the song and eventually tanks there. Its rather frustrating since I owned the rest of the tier, and I can do most of the songs on tiers after it as well

Seriously lol... now I just need to wait until January 2nd so I can get my bundle and play some drums. ;o

And why are the vocals so hard on Hard and Expert lol, they look the same as the other ones but the circle just doesn't fill up quite as fast.;;

Oh and everybody online seems to suck still, just like gh3... faggots picking expert when they play on easy at best, and fail the song after 30 seconds... grats dumbasses. It's so hard getting a good group going, and even when you get one it usually disbands after like 5-10 songs. =/

I have heard a lot about the RB guitars sucking, are they planning to fix this? Cause the thought of having 5 frets for solos is way to tempting to pass up...

Honestly, they do take a long time to get used to, and the Les Paul is more comfortable. The solo frets really help on harder solos through, and they're sexy to show off with (helloooo playing Dani Califonia's solo with one hand while playing with the effects switch)

I've found that I like the GH3 guitar a lot better for hard-expert but for the easy-medium range, the rock band one works nicely. I guess I'm just not still used to how the frets are closer, I'm used to having a gap between them, not like RB where they're all next to each other.

Finally played rock band tonight at a friend's. The strum bar not "clicking" drove me insane, and I couldn't do fast parts worth a shit ><

Drums are awesome tho, and one thing I noticed was like, the difficulty curve in rock band seemed much more designed for people new to it that never played before, while the gh3 stuff is much better when you get good. On medium on rock start it was driving me insane how it was soooo slow and easy, but I would probably have much preferred it for learning.


And then hard seemed about like GH's medium but with all 5 frets.

So like, I bought the 360 Rock Band bundle from gamestop, and it said it has a shipping date of 1/2 on it, which I was fine with... then I open my emails this morning and see that I got an email from gamestop.com late last night saying the shipment is on its way (>.>, I know).

I check the tracking number and it is on the way already, and will be here on monday since I picked overnight shipping.

Guess it's time to go sell the game back.

So my brother and I were doing the one Southern Rock tour in one of the cities on our world tour, and we happen to get the opportunity to gain DOUBLE the fans if we score four stars or higher average. We 5 star Mississippi Queen, so things are looking good from the start. I had a little problem with Flirtin' With Disaster since I don't normally play it. But no big deal right? We're only down 24,000 fans, but we'll be getting DOUBLE. We get to GG and HT, and unfortunately we need 4 stars to get our reward. Then we end up passing it on the 4th try and end up losing 50,000 fans as our reward.


tl;dr, don't do double or nothing on that set list, or you might lose 98,000 fans -_-
