When I was playing with my little sister I had to use the Shitplorer, man that thing feels like a cheap piece of plastic (which it is) after using the Les Paul. I believe they said the Les Paul should be available stand alone early this year.

The GH3 guitar I think is the ultimate one of all guitars that have been released, that thing works like a charm w/o fail.

Yes which is why I love it, I have really tiny hands.

Same, the les paul pissed me off on the PS3, but apparently the 360 one has less issues because it's connecting like a regular 360 controller rather than through a dumbass USB plug. (I mean seriously Sony, couldn't you give them some bluetooth support? ffs..)

Ive had GH3 for the Wii for about a week (then I sold my Wii and I'll prolly just ebay GH3). Anyway, New Years eve, someone brought rock band over to the place we had the party. The actual guitar was junk. The kid got it on christmas and the whammy bar was already broken. Anyway, I loved the way the buttons for the rock band guitar were. I felt I could move my fingers more comfortably as opposed to the Les paul.

There's a free game called Frets on Fire that's pretty cool if you have either an xbox/pc guitar or a X to USB converter.

Basically if you sign up you can look through and it's like... you can find all the songs from all 3 guitar heros converted for it, not to mention literally thousands of others custom made.


It's not the greatest thing in the world, but if you're like me and get bored quickly playing the same songs, it's pretty cool to go find whatever the hell you want (there's even a requests section).


Word of warning: the people making the songs, for the most part, are not interested in medium or even hard really. Expert only... and when they say expert... they mean really, really freaking good. I was looking through a metallica post, and saw that nothing else matters was listed as the easiest in the post, figured I'd give it a shot. Aaaaand... yeah it had parts that were easily worse than mosh 1(think same speed of scales as mosh 1 excep yboyrgyboyrg). Can't even imagine the insanity in the harder ones that guy makes.

I was going to make a whole thread for it, but this seemed like a good time and place to post it. I guess if people really want to get into it someone can still make one.

And my damn tracking number still says "billing information received"... it was given to me at around 2am on the 3rd, but i'm sure they saw that that morning... and if not, the day after... so why the hell haven't they sent it yet? (unless they put it on a truck and they bring it to a local UPS facility, and only then does UPS actually scan the damn thing..)

Anyways I really hope I get my guitar soon, I refuse to go back to the xplorer.

here's my situation, I have gh3 for the 360, I want another les paul badly, I'm kinda pissed they dont sell them yet, someone mentioned they'll be available later this year but any idea when? I also wanna get rock band, which comes with 1 guitar, in which case I wouldn't really have to buy a separate one, but from what I've heard the rb ones are crap, I wanna be able to play 2 plater on gh, and use bass+ guitar on rb(I think you can do that) so should I Get another les paul anyways when I can and junk the rb one ? or stick with 1 les paul and use the rb one for #2? halp D:
