Rock Band!

Anyone here use the Les Paul or X-Plorer for Rock Band instead of the Stratocaster?

I use my Les Paul, I just don't like how the Strat feels.

You're putting yourself at a serious disadvantage if you are, the solo buttons (once you get used to them) are extremely helpful.

I'd probably go back and forth depending on the songs. Where the solo buttons are really important go with the strat, otherwise the strum bar is just retarded and worthless on it.

I use my old ass Red GH2 Guitar for playing Rock Band, I really hate the Stratocaster (maybe because the one we got is a piece of shit and the strumbar is terrible on it).

My red drum pad is getting to where it won't register hard hit notes too well. It only lands softer hit notes 100% of the time. All of my other pads land hard hit notes A-OK. Was wondering, isn't there a fix for this where you put masking tape on the pad? If so, how do you do it? >_>

I also bought some gum rubber pads...and the wood rock pedal as far as mods go.

sock mod and duct taped drumstick tips are awesome. slightly less noise and alot more drum rolls

Failed GGaHT on all Expert at 79%, drummer bombed out near the very end of the second solo and we couldn't get him back in in time. I think I have to go buy a new guitar tomorrow >.>

We can't beat GGaHT for the life of us on Expert, and let's not even think about getting 5 stars on it. We always lose it at 60-80% where the second Lead Guitar solo is, I don't know if we just suck or this song is just fucking rediculous or what, but it's driving us crazy. Between me on bass and my girl friend on lead, we try to keep it together but its just insane. Since we're on PS2 we don't get any of the new stuff people are getting, so to us this is our greatest challenge, and we're getting fucked in the ass by it ><

I only asked because I realized they were releasing the les paul as standalone for the 360 in a couple of months, so I was going to suggest waiting for it, you really didn't have to be a smartass about it. I wasn't going to start browsing through the post to look up your posts and see if you MAY have said which system you're on.

Any one have their drums crap out on them, we plug it in the xbox thing flashs and thats about it. Only had it a few days now.

New DLC is out... Ten Speed obviously doesn't sound EXACTLY like C&C, but I can actually hear the resemblence... definitely one of their better covers in this game, and obviously a must buy IMO.
