FOr everyone who's serious about drumming. Once you get the pedal that's on the top of the page you never have to get another one again.

Pretty much, no DLC, no createable characters (which I wanna do so bad, although some of the defaults from RB are kinda cute) and did i mention no DLC?Originally Posted by Kaisha
Shit would be decent untill the actual base of the pedal breaks like mine :/Originally Posted by ertyu
If anything, get a real one used for 30 or something and use that.
Blarg blarg and blarggggggggggggggggggggggggg. >.<This week (2/5/08) at $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) we have-
"Roam" by the B-52's
"We Care A Lot" by Faith No More
"Calling Dr. Love" by Kiss
Unsure what's with the extra long blarg for Dr. Love, unless you meant it in the way that the song would be easy as shit to play.
Wasn't directly bashing Kiss, it's probably the only one of the 3 i'm actually gonna buy. Extra long blarg in general because i'm extremely disappointed with this week's DLC... but hey, at least they're all masters right?Originally Posted by Kaisha

Stupid, yet simple question, how exactly do you link up with people not on flist, or hell even those on flist? I've tried unsuccesfully a few times to start a tour with a few friends and never been able to connect like we can on GH3.Originally Posted by Vade

Umm, you can't do world band tour online, only band quickplay.
When you go to band quickplay you can choose to add friends (then choose from your friend's list, and it sends them an invite) or just search for players and it will find players randomly who are searching themselves for a band. You can also have people locally with you AND play with online people too (I was on guitar one night and Vade was on drums, and he had a friend with him so that friend played bass and we were able to play together, so it does work that way.)
Anyone try the new DLC yet?
EDIT:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=RYqhoaIjd_k (We Care a Lot by Faith No More) -- Seems kind of boring on the guitar (boring in general, but yeah.. >.<)
http://youtube.com/watch?v=GSHsMB_5MpY (Roam by The B-52's) -- Another zzz song, but at least the vocalist can have fun with this one? Not worth purchasing IMO.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=STfPDaQzxHg (Calling Dr. Love by Kiss) -- Is there a reason this week's DLC is so boring? I like the song, but another boring and slow chart. At least this song has an okay solo, probably the only one i'll buy this week. =/
kiss i love
And Fuel is gonna be awesome, but still, wru master of puppets

How the fuck are people going to play The Perfect Drug? lolPerhaps it's a sign of just how popular this game is, we got a flood of news about the March 18th release of a Nine Inch Nails expansion for Rock Band. If you've mastered The Hand That Feeds and are looking for something a little more challenging, you've got your work cut out for you. The new songs to be made available are March of the Pigs, The Collector, and The Perfect Drug. These had been rumored, but the official Xbox Magazine confirms it.
Just like with The Hand That Feeds, these are from the masters, and are not performed by a cover band. Come March 25th, they're putting a cover band's take of Black Sabbath's Supernaut up as well, but you can rock it out like you're the 1,000 Homo DJs. Thanks to Jared, Ninhead, Goldfoot, dhelfric, Folvex, Bry, Guy, and Andrew for sending in that news.
March of the Pigs will be a fun one on drums.
Perfect drug will probably get like... real drummers that would never have considered this game to at least try it out, that shit is going to be sooooooooo fun.Originally Posted by Norelco

More crap.. And what's with these guys and the Police? (actually the clash and police songs aren't terribly bad, unsettled on the ramones one yet.)This week's DLC for $1.99 per song (160 Microsoft Points)
"Complete Control" by the Clash (master)
"Truth Hits Everybody" by the Police (master)
"Teenage Lobotomy" by the Ramones (master)
I wouldnt mind seeing more Impossibles on DLC, even though my Gimp Squad can't even beat GGaHT yet.
Wii RB can't come soon enough, RB is starting to get boring![]()
96% GGaHT on hard...
I can handle any expert in the game pretty handedly, but still can't pass it on expert -.-;
It's gross I'm so good at it on hard but suck so bad on expert
The difference between Hard and Expert is very very large... nothing like GH3, where Hard is actually pretty damn difficult.
I was having trouble with GH3's final tier Hard songs when I picked up Rock Band, and started out an Expert career right from the get go and beat that before beating GH3 on Hard. It did help me get better on Hard though, and GGaHT was a bitch, but that was about it. Now I pretty much 5 star every expert song in both games (removing the very last Impossible songs on RB and DWDTG/TTFAF on GH3.)
Jesus christ this game is fun with 4 people.
just sucks on career when you get to the point where you have to move up and skill and nobody is good at drums. Fucking drums are so hard. I'm the best at them on my floor and can barely delve into expertsOriginally Posted by Xavier
I need to find some way to mod the drum pedal or get a diff one or something so its lighter cus my foot gets numb/sore after a while on expertfriend that is a rl drummer and very good at that, came over to play it the other day and said it was completely different from how he plays normal drums, and also that the foot pedal is like twice as hard to push down on RB then irl :/
I'm stuck on the final tier in the drum solo tour on Hard... just impossible to pass these songs, damn double tapping bass.
totally know what you mean. You start out all good in the song, and then it slowly declines to where you think you are hitting it twice but you are only hitting it once.Originally Posted by Exoduso
