Personally I started my recent killing-and-whoring spree after playing GTA: San Andreas, and haven't stopped hunting aliens since Halo 3. Not to mention running around bashing heads in with a baseball bat after the huge launch of Orange Box. Why should this be any different?! 8)

We've had our Rock Bands in the back of our store about a week now, and it sucks to not be able to take them home Our boss is cool, but follows rules, so we can't do any sort of that 'take it home / pay for it on release day' stuff, but that's understandable I guess. I'm picking mine up tomorrow though, should be A-SOME.

Just played for an hour or two, it's a fucking blast with a room full of people but I don't see it being much fun alone. The guitar definitely SUCKS compared to GH's; it's fragile, awkward, and hyper sensitive. We ended up playing with GH guitars for the bass and guitar parts. Soooo, find a friend to leech off of or make sure you always have people to play with.

Its fun, but kinda bleh. I don't like the songs so far And the drum set is kinda whack, but perhaps its cuz I've been playing Guitar Hero and not Drum Hero It just seems that Guitar is way easier than GH3 (been playing all songs on Hard since I turned it on this evening, most of my songs in GH3 I played on Medium, with like, two on Hard, I only started playing this week, lol) and then you switch to drums and its like WTF.

Anyhow, its cool, would be fun with more people imo (just two of us atm) and with drinks / xboxlive

ertyu, when you pick up your Harmonix PR check, be sure to tell them that their guitar is a piece of shit. People are saying their guitars are breaking after a couple hours of playing, and many were busted right out of the box (mine included). Crappy tilt sensor and can't strum down.

But other than that, game is pretty good.

My guitar is working fine and I played it for 6 hours straight yesterday, but we'lls ee it's longevity to come I guess. It can't be as bad as the fucking GH3 guitar... mine stopped working almost immdiately, and the GH3 bundles well... like 50% of them were defective one way or the other lol. But I digress, I do agree that the new guitars are going to take some getting used to. THe tilt sensor works a lot differently, and the new strum bar is a lot different. Same with the buttons. But I'm still having a blast w/ my friends overall :3

No complaints from me, having a blast with the game during all 5000 maintenances. Guitar feels like a real guitar as mentioned before vs a fisher price guitar. No problems with the guitar that a couple of people have mentioned.

Got used to the guitar after a few hours. Tilt sensor sucks but the OD button is more accessible so I use that. But holy shit the drums are sex, I can't stop playing Maps on it :D

My guitar blows. After about 5 hours of playing, the strum randomly double strums, whammy causes combos to break, and tilt sensor does nothing

No problems yet for me, guitar felt awkward at first since I was used to the gh3 one....couldn't figure out how to get mic to work until my bro found it online with people having issues. Drums are fun but holy crap are they challenging when you've never drummed before.
