Got my copy 2 hours ago, FUCKING GREAT
New ho/po system has GH3 like ho/po's with the strict timing windows of RB, allowing ho/po chords, fucking boss
I still need to dig deeper, but so far, it feels like going from GH1 -> GH2 all over again

So fucking true, I love it.
Also, I've been using the hyperspeed(breakneck... w/e)... makes shit so much more fun and easy for me cus I can't deal with the sea of notes (especially in songs like Shackler's Revenge and Afterlife..)
As far as importing RB1 songs over, pop your RB1 disc in and make sure you're online... update the game, and then go to the options menu, it will have an importing option at the bottom now. It costs 5 bucks to purchase the item off marketplace, and it transfers all the songs for you (except for run to the hills, paranoid, and 1 more song I can't remember..)
The online world band tour is also very very awesome, just make sure if you make a band with friends online that you go to band options after logging everyone in and going to the roster and making them permanent or their names won't show up on the leaderboards under that band's name... someone has to physically make the band on his console first, and then take it to the XBOX Live World Tour menu and invite them in, so unless you do this only that person's name will show up.
That being said, you can also remove them whenever you want (it changes them back into a 'sub'..), but even if your entire band is filled with 4 permanent slots you can still have subs come in if someone is missing, so it's not like it locks that spot out of the game.
NINJA EDIT: Oh and Epical, Visions is a crazy song regardless of the instrument you play it on lol... I did one of the pre-release challenges and in one of them you have to play 3 extremely hard songs without using overdrive (it locks overdrive out) and actually beating all 3... I failed on Visions the first time on guitar, 2nd time I barely passed the solos. Very annoying song. >.<
Play GH3 if you miss it.![]()
Enter Sandman will more than likely appear in GH:M, so the only one we'll really miss out on is RTTH... oh well.
so is there a release date for ps/wii versions yet?
So...anyone have any idea what this little option is about?

lol no clue, I haven't even paid attention to anything on that screen other than no fail when I had some people over and the lovely breakneck speeds. Try it out.
@Souj, the game only came out for the 360 (game only, not the bundle) just now... the game actually comes out on all consoles (including the Wii and the PS2) next month (exactly in a month iirc, check gamestop.com or something) with bundles and standalone games alike.
Out of the three that didn't transfer, Enter Sandman is the only one I care about. Paranoid's ok, and I didn't really like Run to the Hills. Train Kept a Rollin' is gay also just by the fact that its in every hard venue in world tour.
I'm not sure if anyone else noticed, but the new tiers for old songs are TERRIBLE. Since the game got condensed from 9 to 7 tiers, HMX had to make a ton of changes, and some of them are bad. The only vocal songs in the last tier are Timmy and Can't Let Go.... EVERY SINGLE OTHER last tier vox song got bumped down 1-2 tiers, including the final encore Foreplay/Long Time and what most people considered the hardest song, I Get By.
Afterlife got taken down to tier 5 out of 7 on guitar and Constant Motion is 6. Rock Rebellion is still top tier even though it's incredibly easy -_-
but other than that, this game fucking rocks.
I've been playing like all day. It's pretty fun, just the same exact thing as the first one! I like it alot though. There are lots of new clothes too which is nice, but I wish there were alot more, and alot more hairstyles and stuff too honestly. But, from what I've played it's really fun and I'm glad I bought it.
Also I found out something really completely awesome about RB2 that wasn't in RB1. In RB2 you can make ONE character, and that character can sing, play drums, or play guitar/bass. In RB1 you needed a new character for each instrument. I think that this new way in RB2 is so awesome, and I love that they made it this way.
You can also have permanent members and sub members, and you can take out a permanent member and put one of the subs as a permanent one instead.
It's done very well so you're never screwing up in case you need to switch things up.
wow dashboard in tomorrow's DLC, I'm pretty excittteeed
This game has way too many death metal songs... it's getting annoying.
<3 Death Metal
Two doctor avatars in a row, thought you were conflicting yourself...
I'm glad the big in X achievements are gone in this one. Anyone know when the bonus songs will be ready for download, or are they already?
