Just beat the Endless Setlist 2... got the bladder of steel award too, but Visions screwed us over with that annoying part it has in the middle, so we got 4 99/100 stars on that song... otherwise though, 419/420 for the entire setlist on expert.
Now to take a break from the game for a good month or so. >.>

We started at 4:30 and finished at 10:45, nonestop.

6 hours isn't bad, I think we took 8 for the first one. Did you fail any songs?

I got the bladder of steel achievement for not stopping/not failing any of the songs, so no.

If it wasn't for Visions we would've had a perfect 420/420.

I had no idea the DLC had that much for RB1 (never owned it, just GH3 and the songs they had on there were very limited and crap last I saw). Can't wait to try some Dream Theater! Guess I'll need to wait for the ps3 bundle and then get the RB1 game to get those songs too...

Just rent RB1 or borrow it from a friend, the key you purchase is actually from the marketplace... you only need the rb1 disc for like 2 minutes while it imports from the cd after you had purchased the import/export key.

I'm getting really good on Hard Drums, but for some reason Expert destroys me (even tier 1... I do pretty well on tier 0 songs, but no gold stars yet..) It's not like I fail or anything, but I just barely 5 star songs, and I can't even do that past tiers 2-3.

Any tips? I'm trying to practice on the beats section of the drums practice but it doesn't help too much. My problem is mostly the random bass lines throughout songs, and there doesn't seem to be a place to practice bass.

That's the most challenging difference between hard and expert, off beat bass hits. In my first few days of playing I asked my friends (I didn't own RB at the time) how to do it and they were right in saying "It's just something you'll get." Play a bunch of songs that are really off-beat intensive (say Vaseline for instance) on practice mode and eventually the off-beat hits will stop feeling like they're unnatural and forced.
