Happened to me too. Worked fine all last night, was doing songs on Hard/Expert.

This morning, can't do em on Easy, cuz every strum is a double strum for no good reason. Angry.

Who says I have problems? Already 5*'d it, no gold stars yet though Was just surprised at the difficulty, the rest of the game was a joke on guitar.

Doing the Hard vocals career now, on the 4th setlist, no fails so far :O


Oh, also, thank god achievements finally fucking work correctly! If you beat a career on Expert, you get the Easy/Med/Hard achievements too!

mini necro bump but jesus christ green grass and high tides is tough lol, stuck on it for a while. Whoever said this game is way easier on guitar than GH3 is on crack, I 5 starred every song on GH3 my first run through until the last tier and I've got a good amount of 4 stars on here :<

I just went directly to hard on drums, I kept failing bu I'm finally starting to get it. Anyone else made a lot of progression?

Yeah, finished Hard on Drums recently, on Tier 9 Expert now, but struggling bit.
Just about done with the Vocal Hard career also, will be moving to Expert on that soon :O

If I might give you some advice that really helped me on that...
Keep the pedal partially pressed all the time, it seems much more natural for my foot, so I no longer get tired. It also helps you hit faster parts

I'm kind of a karaoke junkie - but do you feel weird singing by yourself over and over? I can't even imagine what the vocal part of the game is like - only thing I've seen is Karaoke Revolution for PS2 once, which was ...yeah.

Yeah it is lol, currently up to Reptilia (Tier 6) on Expert, had to take a break because it was getting a bit frustrating



And nah, I don't feel too weird. As long as its interesting and challenging, I'll keep doing it

Wow the interface for this game is just utter garbage. It is crazy to think the developer of this game became famous with Guitar Hero because the game is so ugly. I hate the change in the fret board look, and everything about starting a band was just confusing and poorly handled. Guitar Hero onry for me.

I thought the fret board looked good. Although the only thing I wanted to see was some differentiation in the boards depending on what you're playing. From what I've seen anyway.

Yep definitely a TW guitar hero from song difficulty (herro only difficulty is by doing tons of chords) with no note variety, horrible graphics (I never thought graphics would matter in a game like this till I played this abomination), to horrible user interface.

Granted I only played the guitar both solo and coop, but that left a bad enough taste in my mouth.

Guitar hero ONLY did chords on expert, even when the notes in the song weren't chords. And I dunno what you're talking about, the graphics in rock band are a lot better to me imo. THe ability to make and customize your own character rather than picking from a list. Guitar hero 3 was a lot more.... "gritty" than it's predecessor's because neversoft did it and I could tell right off the bat. I guess when you're good at these kind of games you don't really notice things like difficulty. Guitar hero 3 was a fucking joke, this game's guitar career is a joke too. But at least I have drums/vocals. At this point in time all I want to do is have fun, and having 4 people all playing a song working together to try and get high scores, then yelling at the person who fucks up = total win.

I figured first timers to guitar hero would find it better, neversoft made the window to hit notes like a mile wide so it makes the game easier to play. It's strict in rock band, basically b ecause harmonix uses a formula which automatically adds in HO/POs whereas neversoft manually puts them in to songs, which I'm sure a lot of GH1/2 veterans noticed. Fucked me up so bad when I first started but then I just realized I could hit the notes whenever I want because the window is so huge
