Rock Band!

[Selamis]

The Maiden Pack is difficult on expert bass...I'd expect no less since Steve Harris is one of the best bassists of all time.

I'd like to see older stuff from Green Day, like 2000 Light Years Away, Welcome to Paradise, or Christie Road, all (originally) off the Kerplunk! album.

True story on the bass being tough, the guitar too...I think 5 out of the 8 songs they released have the "fire" rating lol.

Kerplunk is probably tied with Dookie for me in terms of being favorite Green Day cds. 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours has good songs too but even the cd itself sounded of not the best audio quality so I'm sure that Green Day would have to remaster them. They support a great discography though, and you could pick songs off any cd that would be awesome to play.

As for next week, I'm excited for some Evanescence.

[Moridam]

having a blast with the maiden pack so far, such an awesome selection of songs. only nitpick is it seems like they completely cut out/drowned out the lead guitar line during the pre-chorus in powerslave, it just doesn't sound right D:

haven't tried them on bass yet, i'll have to give those a go later today

[thestalkmore]

FUCK YEA BRING ME TO LIFE I AM GOING TO GET SO MUCH PUSSY

[Brill Weave]

You had me at pussy! What the fuck @ Spinal Tap though? No Sex Farm, no Stonehenge? WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YYYYYYYYY?!!!

[Norelco]

Is there any way to turn off censored lyrics? It doesn't seem right that I purchase both NIN packs only to have them bleep out swear words.

[Brill Weave]

Not that I'm aware of. I think you're kind of stuck with it.

[Fallyn]

Yeah you're stuck with censored.

[ASG]

Little late to the party but the Iron Maiden pack is really fucking good. I blow ass at The Trooper though I fail at trills ugh

[thestalkmore]

Yea he got 80% it was embarrassing

[ASG]

Always bringing me down. Go fail Panic Attack some more please :D

[thestalkmore]

POIDH

[Kaisha]

Don't make me record our next session. ;p

Warped tour pack/s coming
Kotaku - Warped Tour Song Packs Coming To Rock Band - Rock Band
Specific tracks aren't listed in the newsletter, but the band selection seems pretty solid. They've listed The Devil Wears Prada, Underoath, Bad Religion, Chiodos, A Day to Remember, Thrice, and more, meaning if your favorite band isn't listed, there's still a chance they'll show up.

[Brill Weave]

Tried to download shit last night and marketplace was down. So I played Ghostbusters instead.

[Selamis]

Yea I tried to DL stuff on Tuesday but Xbox live was down, so I tried again yesterday and I didn't even see the Evanescence songs, they only had Maiden as the most recent.

[Colm]

They should be up by now, I've seen preview videos up on YouTube.

OMG MAROON 5!!!!11!1!!1! /SWOON Apparently with the release of Evanescence and now Maroon 5 for Rock Band it's no longer called Rock Band. They have changed the title to moderately emo-pop band.

[Selamis]

Yeaaaaaa, Maroon 5 is not something I look forward to seeing in my Rockband. That being said, a big hell yes to 21st Century Digital Boy being up there. I loves me some Bad Religion.

[Qalbert]

If you don't already have it they released "Sorrow" a while back with like 23423 other songs so a lot of people missed it

[thestalkmore]

Sorrow is great. Looking forward to 21st
