I don't mind Pearl Jam. But I don't like them that much. There's a few of their songs I like. Otherwise most of the time I think Eddie Vedder needs to stop whining lol.
Is the Iron Maiden pack fun but difficulty to play on as Guitar?
(ie: No crazy-insane super-solo shit, but challening enough where practicing will be worth the effort to get better?)
Been looking at it as my next album purchase. Just picked up the SRV: Texas Flood, and just had a blast sight-reading Rude Mood, so many delicious HOPO sections with non-stop guitar.
It is a awesome pack you should pick it up.There isn't a crazy super insane solo that you can't pass with practice. Only one I hate is The Trooper![]()
Because he sucks. The Trooper is awesome. Also, 21st Century Digital Boy is so much fun on drums D:
'eh, I suck myself, still unable to beat Caprici Di Diablo for instance.
(furthest I got was 97% which I *would* have beaten if my fingers didn't just fall apart from the final solo 30sec prior to that point)
What's considered fun on drums for you TSM? Only drum song that really gets me going is Funk #49 due to it being all loose and.....funk. ;/
I personally can't stand crap that requires 16th kicks often as I can't nail them reliably, even with two kick pedals.
(actually, double kick pedals tends to screw me up more as I can't control my feet independent well aside from constant alternating of kicks in sections like that Children of Bodom tune)
though it is unlikely to ever happen based on the whole releasing new tracks in rock band to promote a new album i would love to see a TMV 2 pack form octahedron, Cotopaxi, Desperate Graves, and Since We've Been Wrong. Granted its the equivalent of an acoustic album for them, so some might not be as balls hard/fun as older songs, but I would buy that pack in a heartbeat.
DLC announced a day early this week
Good morning,
I braved the lightning that hit next to my house to come and post this, so you better love it! Next week we have the previously announced Green Day 3-pack coming from their latest album. Also we have a sweet pack coming from the Mayhem Festival.

Two of the new songs, “21 Guns” and “East Jesus Nowhere,” will also be eligible for the “Best Performance In a Pepsi Rock Band Video” category at the MTV Video Music Awards, giving Green Day fans the opportunity to take home a Moonman at this year’s award show. To participate, fans in the United States need to purchase the Green Day tracks on DLC or choose another song from the official competition list and create an original, creative music video. Music video submissions will be accepted through July 28 at Pepsi - Rock Band - Landing. The winning band will travel to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, walk the red carpet, receive their very-own Moonman statue and be featured in a spot produced by MTV to air nationally the night of the awards show.

good to see them compensating for the greenday bs
Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way - Drums - Expert is the funnest shit.
I have to say, drums was the sole reason I even picked up Rock Band, and still to this day, I enjoy it enough just playing as it regardless of difficulty, where-as with Guitar any song bores me unless it's tough-as-nails (even if it means I scrape by with 3*) to keep interest.
One of the drum tunes I do like is Flirtin with Disaster, and I don't know why......steady offbeat kicks with a bunch of interesting pattern movements. I particularly love tunes where I'm "into" it and I can hear each and every individual note right as I hit it.
(some tunes I play, what comes out of the speakers just either isn't a good volume, or it doesn't sound right coming from my plastic controller, such as NIN - Perfect Drug)
they need to add some roots tracks
holy shit, black magic! would've expected something from the new album, but one of the best tracks off show no mercy is an awesome surprise. too bad the rest of the metal selection for that pack is garbage D:
Have not tried it, will think about it next time I put $20 towards DLC.
At any rate, I can die happy now:
